  I am not a US citizen so can only "judge" from the outside. Every POTUS have their shortcomings and successes. So, just looking at the facts, I doubt what benefit the current POTUS has brought the citizens he represents:

  - trying to remove health care for the poor

  - more internal conflicts in many cities, somehow driven by race, increased polarization

  - poor reputation among the traditional allies

  - Created a trade war with China with only losers

  - Achieved nothing in North Korea, despite his own propaganda

  one of the benefits of justification is eternal life for believers.

  i found an interesting passage from the wt, june 15, 1974 which reads:.

  "it is to the spirit anointed christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the christian-greek scriptures is directed, including the promise of everlasting life.

  The other sheep do need to "earn" life during the 1000 years. Only to so-called anointed are Gods children and as such, will benefit from the Mediator and the ransom and have eternal life in heaven.

  does anybody know what this message will contain ?

  is it designed to provoke a response that will bring persecution on the religion ?

  or is it just going to be some meaningless weak campaign to get the rank and file all excited about it and achieving nothing.. or is it going to suggest to the government officials that this mob could very well be the next jonestown /wacol incident and we need to act now.

  TIME FOR ACTION.....what would that mean? Politicians to give up their job and then being governed by the great 8 and wait for the end .... in the meantime...who will govern you country, support the weak, the meek the poor, health care, roads etc etc

  JW's are in general good in just waiting....waiting for updates on doctrines, waiting for their god to help the weak, poor and meek....

  Ok, We Need To Talk About The Latest Caleb & Sophia Cartoon

  (as of 10 sep 2020) there's a new caleb & sophia cartoon in which the org puts into the minds of children the idea that celebrating a birthday will cause jehovah to not want to be your friend anymore.. https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/children/become-jehovahs-friend/videos/trailer-jehovah-forgives/.

  can you imagine being 6 years old and thinking god himself is no longer your friend because you blew out a candle on a birthday cake or wished someone a happy birthday?.

  as bad as all this is, the birthday thing is just one of many jw rules that isnt even supported by scripure.

  Dutch JW publish open letter protesting accusations of mishandling child abuse and government inquiry

  today watchtower netherlands published an open letter in a national newspaper, lamenting the accusations about them not handling child abuse issues very well.. they protest a scientific report made by utrecht university (by request of the government).. they protest almost everything our minister of justice has said about them.. they place themselves in the role of victims of unfair treatment, discrimination.. they point their finger a other religions (foremost the catholic church) because they are much worse.. they refer to jw being persecuted in wwii, as if that were relevant to the issue at hand.. all in all, they (probably) spent about 25k to 30k euro to publish their bullshit in a national newspaper.. not a single trace of any self-awareness, let alone even a hint of an apology.

  quite the contrary.. they suck.. the minister of justice tweeted "this is exactly the problem: they spend money on lawsuits and expensive ads instead of improving help for victims #fail".. see the translation of the jw letter here: https://www.reddit.com/r/exjw/comments/ilair1/open_dutch_letter_a_little_better_english.

  @AnderAndersen Just checked using different spelling (Jehova) which is more common. Dagblad van het Noord reports on it. And RTV Drenthe has something.

  Thanks for sharing. Peculiar as I am Dutch, living in The Netherlands and I do read news-apps but did not notice or was not made aware of this open letter. I guess most news agencies did not care to report about it but I can be wrong. My wife is PIMI but she did not ask if I had read something, nothing. No indication she was aware of this at all.

  Regarding the contents: it seem of low to average quality. Normally you do not attack openly a leading civil servant like the Minister of Justice, in particular if you realize that this person has the power and authority to take steps against the organisation.

  The arguments are not made to build bridges but actually are more to limit any opportunity to come to a common agreement or understanding.

  The NAZI reference is the nail in the coffin in my view as it is fully besides the point.

  the former image was obtained from a topic in the humor and joke section of this platform and it seems to carry a underground information that is equally powerful.. since a food company had been producing a particular product for four generations since 1914, how come the wtbts publishing company are still producing for a one generation since 1914?.

  awake october 1968 stated............ even if we presume that youngsters 15 years of age would be perceptive enough to realize the import of what happened in 1914, it would still make the youngest of "this generation" nearly 70 years old today(year 1968).

  so the great majority of the generation to which jesus was referring has already passed away in death.
