With all respect, but if you trust your God to be your rock, why do you ask others?

Brother and friends
by menrov inso, according to wt doctrine, we are brothers, right?
so, if we are all so-called brothers, that we all have one father, right?
if we are just friends of our creator, then we are not brothers.

So, according to WT doctrine, we are brothers, right? So, if we are all so-called brothers, that we all have one father, right? If we are just friends of our creator, then we are not brothers.
Next time you meet your elders, ask this question: why do you call me your brother (or sister) if I am just a friend of our God?
Have fun.

Lloyd’s new book
by jwfacts ini see there has already been discussion over lloyd’s new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.
this includes discussion around his personality, motives and financial gains.
i have written a foreword for this book, because it is an important topic that has not been covered in such a complete format before.

I do not like personal attacks at all and I believe each one that left the WT should appreciate the efforts by people like Paul or Zeb or Lloyd. The site Lloyd had helped me a lot, JWFacts helped me and other sites as well. We all have our own personalities (once the WT imposed personality has faded again) and so do all these people have. Even if their efforts helped you 5 or 10% it is far more than anyone in the WT ranks would do to help you to regain your life.
I know hosting a site cost money, providing the contents is hard word and cost a lot of free time. Normally institutions to help drunk or abused people get some subsidy or sponsorship. I presume the so-called exJW sites are funded by their own money. If writing a book helps to generate some income whilst still helping others (You do not have to buy the book, there are still many sites available), who are we to judge? Also to publish a book cost money.
Anyway, I am happy with all the efforts that help people to wake up and re-gain their own lives again.

And they (WT) do not even serve a coffee with cake after the amazing event...such a warm event, showing how the WT is to receive them all and serve all with some nice coffee....
Oops....

I now tend to disagree. The rules to protect privacy are human or worldly rules. The WT does not accept worldly rules so why use it to protect them?

Although this is a very popular, sort of infotainment program, I agree with Anders that Raymond and Nico did very well and respectfully. Although the WT does not deserve any respect for this.

No Bible = No God?
by menrov insome doubt about the bible completely, some partially.
what if the bible turns out to be a product of humans, nothing divine.
would you still believe in a creator?.

@Anders Anderson
I believe there is a creator, as I think that design of a living thing is too complex to just have started. But I have serious doubts about the concept of god as described in the various scriptures. My view is that the creator just created what we have and it is up to humans to make it a success (or not). The creator is not monitoring or guiding the affairs on earth. If he does, why allow so much suffering and sorrow at all stages in life, if you have the power to change it. If a normal, righteous human would remove all evil from those he loves, you could at least expect the same from a creator who is supposed to love his creation.
It is not a criticism. I am not challenging a creator but challenging the concept of a God who love his creations as described in the scriptures.
What is means for our future? I have no idea. May be one day the creator will focus his attention on us. Until then, it is up to us humans to live a life that is enjoyable. Hoping you do not get seriously sick or involved in a war or a serious accident etc.
Are there beneficial things in the bible? Yes, but discernment is needed as it is written by men from a certain culture and region.
I hope I explained myself a bit....
