  We had a similar event a while ago in The Netherlands. The suspect was apprehended by a police officer who used his arms around the neck of the victim. Apparently too strong and the suspect died. In this case, the victim was also not white.

  Every unplanned and avoidable death is wrong and should be investigated. And if the police officer was too eager to use his authority on a non-white person, then that should also be investigated. The fact that GF was under drugs, is not a reason to be extra harsh. But even police officers are only human and we do not know the bad things this officer has experienced. It is not an excuse but can sometimes be a reason. We all have that when we here bad things about a certain group of people. We generalize and believe all of them are bad. And when we see a person from such a group dating our daughter, you might get very anxious and tend to harm the guy just because he is from a certain group.

  The protest helped to have this case (i hope properly) investigated. I am against all the violence that came with the protests (though I realize not all protests came with violence).

  Do black people always defend one another? No, they do not though it seems in the media. Is it unique for the black community? No, I see people from Morocco do exactly the same.In general, all groups that feel they are a victim (true or not) act like that. JW's act like that because they also feel they are a victim.

  now they claim they have been assisting victims of domestic abuse for decades, and they can offer victims timely emotional support and reliable guidance from the bible and jw.org.. is a slight improvement from the dec 2018 article page 14 .

  extremely physically abusive , even to the point that she feels her health or life is in danger , some have endured and tried to work at improving matter's..

  So, if there is only one creator, and as a result, Satan and his demons were created, how does this verse apply to the creator? Not only Satan but also Adam and Eve were considered bad fruit as they disobeyed as all humans were evil.

  So why state to be Jealous and accept no other worship if there is no other god. Further, if only one type of worship was allowed, what happened that there are now many type of religions and type of worship? If you are the Lord of Heaven's Armies, would it not be easy to ensure only one type of worship would exist?

  If you are the Almighty Lord, the creator of everything, the jealous god, would you do exactly the one thing the will not harmonize people, but divide by introducing different languages? If all people / humans are evil, how can you rely on them to have your word translated in the same many languages you created?

  It all simply does not make sense. I know many on this forum already are convinced of that. However, as many believers believe that all scriptures are inspired and form one coherent book, I tried to show using the same scriptures that actually it is not one coherent book and that there are serious contradictions between certain statements in these scriptures (conceptually or literally).

  Anyway. I cannot deny the idea that (many of) the stories were created 1) to introduce and enforce a theory about the origin of life and death including an effort to explain why people die (concept of sin introduced), 2) why there are different languages, etc. 3)to spread a view on how men should treat women 4) "market" their views as better than other views (hence why all other types of worship in the scriptures are presented as bad) etc.

  did the flood and all wars in the scriptures eventually bear the fruits that god hoped for?

  is evil gone among humans?

  I have been thinking and was eventually wondering about the following:

  Did the flood and all wars in the scriptures eventually bear the fruits that God hoped for? Is evil gone among humans? Do we all worship the same God in the same way? How many lives have been lost and how many people have suffered due to these acts of God? You would expect that the many efforts by God to protect his people and to spread the approved way of life would have resulted in a much better world.

  Would this in itself, these facts, not be enough proof that these events were not driven / organized by an almighty God?

  however, i found some old emails from ray franz that promoted me to write an article that answers a question i regularly receive.

  it is in regards to the motive of governing body members.

  I can believe that fortune or money was not a driver when Ray was a member. But a lot has changed and since the WT got hold of all kingdom halls worldwide and are far more focused on donations, my view is that money has become a driver. May be not the core driver but as key element of all their drivers:

  - power
  - being seen as special or important
  - lack of personality in normal life and now want to prove they are doing a great job
  

  Unless they are all blind and lack any sense of intelligence, they must know that their doctrines are not scriptural and that their views about Armageddon are based on philosophical ideas and wishful thinking. But as they convince themselves they need to provide a sort of "safe haven" for people (I truly believe they think that people are better of being in the organisation) , they will continue with their journey to convert people.
