Translating JWFacts to Spanish... Update?
by ILoveTTATT inas you all may know, it is an ongoing project to translate jwfacts to spanish.
given that there are more than 2 spanish-speaking jw's for every one that speaks english, it can be safely said that spanish is the #1 language in the jw world (even though everything is made originally in english).. the spanish-speaking jw's are harder to convince.
i attribute it almost 100% to socioeconomic factors.

my jw lady friend still goes out "in service" and stays in touch with her "service buddies" who also know me.. so she was telling me that they asked about me and mentioned that they would like to stop by to see me.

My friend does not like to wait. One time we had a new waitress who actually gave us water before the margaritas...the horror!! Lol

RIP at least the world didn't get him, words of comfort?
by MissFit into my grieving sister about the death of her only son almost 2 year ago.
he was 25.. we were having lunch when she repeated those words of"wisdom" from one of her jw in-laws.
this is a hard month for her.

I know my sister still grieves deeply. I wish I could give her real comfort instead of false hope I. I think right now the only thing keeping her going is the reserrection hope.
They sold their house and are changing congregations since they are moving so they can start fresh without so many reminders.
My heart hurts for her. She loves completely heart and soul and her children were her life. He was her first born. She was so close to both of her kids.
It kills me to see her having to live without her son.

Jhi & heaven: you are right. Life is to be enjoyed. This little sister had a big scare last year. Her heart was really bad and they wanted to do a by pass but couldn't because she was too weak.
She really thought she a just a few months to a year to live. She was preparing to die.
She switched doctors and found out her former doctor had given her the wrong medicene dosage . The new doctor gave her a new lease on Iife.
She knows life is too precious to waste. She also knows blood pressure goes up at meetings. She doesnt think they are worth a heart attack over.
In her heart she feels she serves god and that he can read her heart and is the final judge, not some brothers.
She just doesnt like nosey people in her business.
