  Where to go from here...

  i'm new around here, but i've been browsing the site the last few days in hopes of finding the answer to the situation i've been going through, so hopefully you can help me.

  i met this girl in highschool, but never really spoke with her until about a year after i graduated.

  she's three years younger (however it's legal where i'm from, don't fret) and still a teenager.

  Thank you for sharing. My husband and I have been married for 26 years. I am just now breaking free from the fear of destruction.

  I can't stress enough how powerful the fear of Armageddon is and how that fear influenced the decisions I made.

  I too went back to save my children. I had to learn TTATT to free me. I am still prying away the chains. It is hard to free yourself when you can't see the chains.

  i've read on another thread you need to delete the cached file of the profile picture so that it can be updated by the gravatar user.

  i created a gravatar account, added the email address i use on here and uploaded the an image, but nothing happens.

  this was 3 days ago.. could you please solve this problem?.

  Convention Season-"Saving Good Seats" & Other Embarrassing Behavior

  since it is the convention season (and i am not attending this year or ever again), and i have been seeing other posts about some of the goings on at the various ic's and rc's, i am reminded of some of the truly embarrassing behavior i have "witnessed" (pun intended) over my lifetime of being a jdub at the various conventions and assemblies.

  probably the most disillusioning experience at a convention that i have ever had was one year when i volunteered to be an attendant.

  all of the volunteers were asked to attend a special meeting a few months beforehand to get instructions for our duties as attendants.

  I would have trouble finding 4 seats together because people would skip a chair instead of sitting next to someone. I would get proactive and check to see if that chair was empty, then ask the person to scoot down unless they minded watching my young child.

  he had never heard of it before and i had never tried it.

  so i am at the funeral for the son of an old mentor of mine and my closet truth friends.. .

  (i talked about r in a previous post, he was the most formative person in my life in the truth, and those of my family and friends.).

  i was pulled aside by r's wife; she tells me that r wants to talk to me.. .

  i've never been on a website that doesn't allow you to delete your own personal messages.

  why can we not do that on this site?

  what are your motives in keeping our personal messages?

  Welcome Maranatha :

  I know this site can seem a little disconcerting. It's like falling down the rabbit hole.

  If I read a post that disturbed me, I would click on the poster's name and then click on their previous posts. This would give me an idea about where they were coming from. There are a lot of experiences here. You may find out that some of them echo your own or you might find a different perspective on things.

  I know which posters I will read and which ones I will ignore depending on the subject.

  I hope you stick around and keep an open mind.

  Feel free to start an introductory post and tell your story. We would love to get to know you.
