Sarahsmile...she was truly disturbed about the child sex abuse and hiding it, all the court cases world wide, including Candice Conti and the Sewell cases. She was a victim so it resonates deeply with her, she was pale. Also the changes in the donation arrangement, she hadn't really understood it. Also some of the older watch tower teachings....So she as a born in believes the elders can set her mind at ease or have something to say about this stuff. Not to get me in trouble but for herself.

Jgnat: thank you for the suggestion. I am not baptized, but my husband is. I think if her elders call my elders I will talk to them, and ask them the same questions. My questions are about 1914, 1975, all other prophesies (which I have original wt pubs) Beth sarim, blood, vaccines, etc. I asked the sisters I study with to study with me from the bible to answer my questions and they cant. They are researching topics for me now. So I will simply ask them. I just don't want to approach them as I don't want them to start pressuring my h about me.

Yes, blinded followers may fall for the whole persecution bit, which is sad, and after talking with my in-laws they are fully inebriated on the wt Kool aid and eat up the sh*t they are fed no matter how bad the taste. Things I heard over and over include:

International Convention...Same Message, Same Emotional Manipulation

well, of course nothing else would be expected, but it passes me off.. for example, they show this short video that shows a child dying, shows her father crying as he visits her grave...and then she is reunited with her family in "the new system" and then it shows a handicapped girl who is sad she can't ice skate with friends...fast forward to tns, she can skate!!!

then an elderly couple is shown happily young again.... .

and of course the end is "so close!
