it reminds me of my old kingdom hall where hardly anyone is sitting in the front rows and doesn't seem like they have a large membership.most kingdom halls sit around 200 people at the most and seem to have a hard time filling the seats.. my old congregation had around 45 members when i left 4 years ago.we always seemed to have a hard time meeting the monthly expenses.some months,i was told that some elders would contribute extra money so the congregation would not be in the negative for the month.. how many members did your congregation have while you were still attending and did meet its expenses for the month?.

the picture is from Thursday 29 December 2016 - which is the strange time between Xmas and New Year, not really a typical time?

also the picture is from South Dakota which had blizzard conditions just a few days beforehand - travelling on the roads in the evening may not have been such a good idea, so probably not really a typical time?

UnshackleTheChains: It's funny how the front seats are empty in a lot of halls. It's the same at our hall. Empty seats middle front. Everyone preferring to sit towards back and sides.

Bethel Library moving to Warwick, are older items 'vanishing'

in a post re dates etc from fatfreek reference was made to huge library at bethel with items dating back to pastor rs day.

like the year 1975 which has vanished from wt theology, are gb using move to let them put all old and inconvenient items into some sort of cold storage and off library shelves.

already the revelation book has gone from the orgs website, and that was quite recent relatively, we studied it 3 times at congregation book study, yet now, like type and antitype it mysteriously was never there.

Still Totally ADD: I remember when I was doing temp. work at bethel and was starting to wake up there was a post that said the Wt. Maz. Still had the cross on the front cover up to 1943 or 1944... Guess what I found? What was brought out here was true. This was important information for me because I was taught the Wt. stop using the cross around 1920 or so.

blondie: So if that guy he shot had been Catholic,it wouldn't have bothered the cop? Less if it had been a Catholic or Protestant man?

In the post title I replaced the last word 'man' with 'JW' - this was to make it more obviously relevant in terms of news to this specific forum.

But I'm listening to you..... I have therefore edited the post title back to the generic 'man' as per the web article, but have now bolded the section of the news article that highlights that the innocent bystander who died was a JW.

Correction: Revelation book was studied four times.

Yes four times:

- Week Starting 17 April 1989
- Week Starting 18 March 1991
- Week Starting 3 October 1994
- Week Starting 8 January 2007

The 2007 Study included the corrections/adjustments contained in the four page insert from the Kingdom Ministry September 2006.

Australia TV's Bride & Prejudice’s Forbidden Wedding Dilemma

it's a world away from the dating shows and cooking competitions commercial tv networks are stacking their schedules with right now.

but on channel 7's bride & prejudice, we meet couples whose families are dead set against their relationships.

and it's a heartbreaker..... it was at love at first sight for sydney couple chris, 39, and grant, 32. grant's parents have always accepted his homosexuality; however chris's parents have struggled and remain uncomfortable with his way of life.

good article, a must read, from my perception.. i did a bachelor and master since 2001, having the same opinion, for a better present and future and for my and family sake: being an educated person, gaining respect and being proud of what i could realize in life.
