Any idea why, if Reveal was actually hosting this event, it does not seem to be listed on their website??

Is there another website?

After reading the article, I'm inclined to agree that someone who is pushing a JW agenda wrote it. Not only is the article poorly written (probably by an uneducated JW), or maybe by an educated but not fluent in English JW foreigner.
OK, so I just very nearly spat out my drink of tea with the subtext
The story is very similar to the news story on the official jw website and includes the same cover photo.
haha yeah - seems pretty obvious to me that it's just a re-written version

Drug could reduce bleeding deaths of JW moms. WT Pay Attention
by Lee Elder ina new study in lancet shows a drug, tranexamic acid, could save the life of a preganant jw woman who is experiencing heaving bleeding following childbirth.
hopefully, watchtower h.i.s.
is paying attention, and gets this information out asap.

thanks for the link - I believe that, although The Guardian has the lowest circulation of any national newspaper in the UK, it tradtionally has a higher proportion of readers in the medical/social fields.
Lee Elder: Hopefully, Watchtower H.I.S. is paying attention, and gets this information out asap.
Have you been able to read the JW's "Care Plan for Women in Labour Refusing a Blood Transfusion"? I believe it is the standard form that the JW's distribute to all expectant mums-to-be? The one below is six years old.
"Care Plan for Women in Labour Refusing a Blood Transfusion" (Jan 2011 Edition)
Management of active haemorrhage
Other haemostatic agents:
Tranexamic acid (Cyklokapron): anti-fibrinolytic agent well established for controlling haemorrhage, use 1gm IV x tds, slowly.

Last song at Regional Convention of 2016 was stolen from Audiomachine
by LevelThePlayingField inas far as i know, i did a search, and you may not know this but, the last song play during a music video of the regional convention, was not of watchtower.
it's stolen from a group called audiomachine off their album epica.
the song is called eternal flame and it is exactly and i mean, note for note the same as the music video.

Village Idiot: It might be nice to drop off a message to the owners of that video just in case.
No need to - with much thanks and appreciation to LevelThePlayingField who has already taken the time to researched and has clearly stated above that the WT stole the music.
Therefore it's with much interest that we're wating for LevelThePlayingField to explain and show us their research regarding this.
AverageJoe1: Come on guys, get your facts straight. They bought it.
See above, LevelThePlayingField has researched it - after all LTPF wouldn't have said what they said if they hadn't.

LevelThePlayingField: Last song at Regional Convention of 2016 was stolen from Audiomachine
thank you for researching this
The use of stock media - photographs, graphics, video and music - is very common, and known about - it makes sense for many companies and organisations as it's often the quickest and cheapest method of getting the required results.
Stock music for movie trailers (yes, even big budget movies) is an interesting - and not so well known by the public - niche genre of the stock media industry - and I believe that it is this that the WT used for the video in the OP.
Take a look at the closing credits on the JW Monthly Broadcasts - you will often see stock media being credited.
Anyway, that's all known about and is nothing new....
BUT - having done your research - how do you know the WT stole the music? As you clearly state in the topic title?
You've researched it - so you are not 'making-it-up' - you are making an informed statement that the WT stole the music on a public forum.
So thank you, that's interesting, please tell us more! - what research have you been able to do that backs you up?

This was discussed here a couple of months ago when the OP article was first published
It is a badly written article - there is a clear confusion regarding the numbers (bad journalism?):
OrphanCrow: This article says that in November 2015, the JWs were claiming 2000 JW Filipinos in Russia
No, the article does not quote WT, it seems comments etc have been editorialised by the newspaper themselves:
Since the website is available in more than 700 languages, some 2,000 Filipinos working in Russia can read and listen to their favorite Bible verses and Bible-based literature in their mother tongue, their spiritual food
It doesn't say all those 2,000 are JWs
See the earlier thread for more discussion:
