Oh wow...yep, there is nothing culty about having EVERY word scripted!?!?
TBH, I think it's more about the quality - without a clear outline/script, a lot of chairmen often just end up waffling a bit in a mumble - a chairman needs to be clear, direct and positive to have any hope of an audience paying attention - that's true in both jw-land AND non-jw-land.
What is interesting though is how badly the script is formatted - actually it isn't formatted - the lines just run on - which means if the chairman looks up (yes novelty of some audience contact) the person often looses his place in the script.
Actually they expect the Chairman to type/write it all out themselves because there are so many [brackets] where addition information needs to be added and no room has been provided - the problem is...how many chairmen actually do type it all out....

she died because of her religious principles.

In the Thursday 25 May 2017 edition of Le Soleil newspaper on page 6 it says that despite repeated attempts from her husband, the hospital is refusing to hand over Eloise Dupuis' medical records detailing what happened to her in hospital.
He's having to go to court to get them!

kevin is also visiting numerous jw cart locations from the los angeles area to orange county and giving a most effective wiitness at each location and they're all on video.

At six weeks old, Roen was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a progressive, genetic disease that causes lung infections and limits the patient’s ability to breathe over time due to a buildup of mucus in the lungs.
The pressing need for a transplant may force the Roens to relocate to Houston next month, as there is only one state in the country that allows bloodless transplants and one surgeon in the country that performs them at Houston Methodist Hospital. A Jehovah’s Witness, Roen may not take a blood transfusion.
In order to even get on the transplant list, the Roens must establish a residence in Texas first.

by Edison Trent inshort info on interesting changes to the major conventions this year: there will be a new security concept that will be implemented at all regional conventions in 2017.. similar to other major events (e.g.
festivals, concerts), there will be admittance controls in stadiums.. - at each entrance, there will be a massive presence of attendants that look at each visitor.. - there will be pocket checks at the entrance.. - suspicious persons are no longer left on the convention grounds.. - suppliers to the stadium will be intensively inspected by attendants.. - there will be a special sign for attendants that must enter the stadium before 7.30 am.
all others (even all attendants) can only enter after 7.30 am..

I say again this is essentially old news in the U.K. We had to attend a day long "training" event 20 years ago and be told about our duties or not be allowed to attend.
What's 'new' this time is that just weeks before a convention, a JW convention venue has apparently been targeted by a suicide bomber - with at least 22 dead, including children.
