Latest UPDATE from 18 July 2016
Good afternoon,
I am writing to give you a quick update about our ongoing statutory inquiries into safeguarding and charities linked to Jehovah’s Witnesses.
As you may know, one of our inquiries is into Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain. We opened this inquiry in 2014. Watch Tower then initiated what turned out to be protracted litigation against us. We have robustly defended our position. We were right to open the inquiry. We have won our case in every court that has heard the matter, most recently in the Court of Appeal. Watch Tower then decided to try to appeal to the Supreme Court. I am pleased to tell you that I have learned today that the Supreme Court has rejected their application. This means that there are no more domestic routes of appeal open to Watch Tower. We are therefore going to be doing what we have been doing since 2014, which is continuing with our inquiries.
A huge thank you to those of you who have met with me, Nick and Chris over the past few months to share your stories with us in person; and thank you also to everyone who has emailed or who has spoken to us on the phone. There is more work to do but the court ruling is an important milestone.
Please let me know if you would no longer like to receive these occasional updates.
Take care,
Jonathan.

Sounds like this is what is only now being reported in The Guardian - and I suppose Third Sector picked it up from the Guardian today?
Why has the Guardian only reported it today?

Hey AndersonsInfo!
This is basically the same as the Guardian article that's already been posted about nine hours ago? yeah?
Perhaps you could have pointed out any addition information the article you posted contained to those already posted - I would have found that helpful and informative
The problem is nowadays, if you do a related post and split the threads all up into small ones, they'll lose their 'hotness' factor so in reality, rather than benefiting the topic of discussion, you're doing the topic a disservice

one day, they are going to have to face the music here just like they did at the australian royal commission.. looking forward to they day immensely.

Oops. Sorry, never realised it'd been posted.

The allegations were also reported to the Vermont Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services Social Services Division in 1997, and True submitted to a polygraph test administered by a detective from the Vermont State Police, which True passed. As a result, no charges were filed.

so this past weekend i took my girlfriend and my boys on a little weekend getaway.
we stayed in a hotel and early sunday morning i went out for some starbucks.
when i returned and called the elevator it arrived, the doors opened and inside waiting to come out was a nice lady with that all too familiar badge on her lapel.
Hey Driving Force!
My wife always made the hotel bookings and one year she went online to the hotel's website to check if there were any reservations at one of the WT recommended hotels, low and behold there was, at a price lower than what the WT stated.
I understood that WT did this to get over 'dynamic pricing' - where the price goes up the less rooms there are - so that all attendees can pay the same, rather than allowing a few early bookers to get a 'cheap' prices and the rest to pay rack or more.
