Does this count??
Pew Research: A Closer Look at Jehovah's Witnesses Living in the US
it has been sickening to read the most recently leaked documents by faithleaks.
it makes me so angry because so many of us have experienced first hand the horrible policies of the watchtower on abuse.
i feel like these documents are finally the smoking gun we have all been hoping to expose the watchtower, and so far, the only mainstream news that i have seen pick it up is newsweek.. what will it take for the mainstream media pick this up and give it the attention it deserves?

JeffT: The question reporters ask is not "is this an important story?" It's "will this story attract viewers/readers?" In the case of JW's the answers to those questions are "maybe" and "not many."
That's why people have to follow the links to those stories and articles!
I posted a link to the Newsweek article on reddit which has got 2,300 views (as I posted the thread, I can see the number) - many more people will have followed the link to Newsweek from other places too - and it all adds up.
Then there's the example of these two 'end-of-year' popular articles:
this is the circuit assembly hall i attended since childhood.
if you're a jw and you grew up in liverpool, lancashire or manchester then this is the hall you attended.
when i was little i remember the decor inside being red and cream coloured.
Here's a youtube video slideshow about the Manchester Assembly Hall

FaithLeaks releases 33 letters and internal documents detailing an internal investigation of alleged sexual abuse within a congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The documents, spanning from 1999 to 2012, detail accusations from three accusers and present communications between local leaders of Jehovah’s Witnesses and various legal entities that represent the Church that are commonly referred to collectively as “Watch Tower”.
In 1999 accusations were made against a member of the Jehovah's Witness church. The accusations were made by one of his daughters to the leaders of the Palmer Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brimfield Massachusetts.
The following files document the various correspondences that took place within the Jehovah’s Witness organization as this case unfolded and was investigated by church leaders.
The Documents span several years and they detail the accounts of the original accuser, another daughter, and a female not related to the accused that later came forward.
The documents are listed in chronological order. All names have been redacted and color coded.

St George of England: I wonder how many at the meeting will look at the Interlinear?
More than they would've a couple of years ago?
It's on the JW app so you can compare the verses side-by-side.
wanda nevada (brooke shields) a 13 year old girl and a man 30 some years old (peter fonda) not only expressing their love for each other, but forming a relationship and end up running away together, yes a little creepy.

"my husbands religious beliefs are ruining our family" is the topic.
i"m not home when it airs on cbs in the afternoon so i watch a rerun on ch 55 here in nyc at 8pm.

Dr Phil to Tatiana:
"Let me tell you the main reason, and I think we've seen pretty good evidence of it right here today, is that the minute - roll your eyes later, listen to me now - each time these people [CPS] have written these reports and done what they've done, which, clearly would piss off a statue, I get it. I mean you read this and it infuriates you right?
"So what you do is you then handle them by being combative, argumentative, unwilling to answer, and you write back - I'm sorry, I was talking - you then sit down and write out affidavits where you go chapter and verse through the report and criticized them, what they've done, where they got it wrong, how they jump to conclusions, how they didn't do the right thing and... your attorney told you to do that?"
"Where are your kids?"
"Where are your kids??"
"Where are your kids?!?"
"Where are your kids?!!?"
"The one way you're gonna get those children back is if you play nice with the CPS and you say okay let's make a list, let's find out what it is you need to see here - and you might bite the end of your tongue off ten times - tell me, this guy is the head of the largest [Child and Family Services] organization in the United States, am I telling the truth here?"
"100%, do you want to be right or do want your kids back?"

Dr Phil to Tatiana:
"How did I know this? What, did I just make this up?"
(Tatiana gets up and walks out)
"If you're gonna make a dramatic walk-out, you gotta go this way" (points in opposite direction)
"No, not that way, there's no door, you gotta go this way"
"Well, you're not gonna get it leaving, but if you do want to leave, you gotta go this way"
(Robert to Tatiana: "Sit down")
(Robert to Tatiana: "We have to work through it")
"If you want to talk to me sit down, if you don't, leave!"
"What's all this drama?"
"That's not what I asked you. I said what's all this drama? You're gonna get up and leave?"
"And so you're gonna decide what I'm supposed to say to you?"
"Oh! You've done real wrong. Let me tell you I'm getting ready to tell you some things you've done wrong that if you don't change you're not gonna get those children back!"
Audience applauses
