  This is just downright sad.

  More and more, they are trying to re-create a 1950's culture, I guess trying to gain/retain via nostalgia.

  If they do that crap in a KH, then they can play "Last Kiss" at my funeral in the KH.

  This decade - the 2010's - your view of so far

  i had a relative exhort me to attend sunday am of the rc, to which i said no, already read the points online.. i said that i find this decade to be the most enjoyable.. people are relaxed, people have piercings, tats, hair colour du jour, facial hair, yoga pants (okay, not so great with the people of walmart videos), etc., and no one gets a second glance.. the music is awesome, movies are pretty good.. everyone still has their trials and tribulations, bad relationships, economic swings, etc.. but i feel happy.. the posted highlights from sunday am were:.

  anticipate future kingdom blessings!.

  a world without satan (revelation 20:2,3,7,10).

  I was saying to 1 of my kids that this decade seemed to be the best, at least since the decade of the 1920's.

  Elders attempted to catch me out

  hey all,.

  i had two elders just "drop in" yesterday...walked around the back of my house and all....rude....i happened to be home, and opened the door.... one is doing spring cleaning at his house, and so in general chit chat, they spoke of how we all dont need to keep the bound volumes or older mags anymore, as everything we need is on the website or cd rom.... i just casually said, "yes, but its nice to have the originals so we can see the original wording and info".

  one of them snapped his neck spinning so quick, frothed at the mouth and said "what do you mean changes?...nothing changes!!".

  Was it not announced at your halls, that the reader of the WT and the BS (yeah, I know ...) to check the CURRENT online edition of the book and WT. There was a WT study which had a changed paragraph between its printing and the study about 7 months ago.

  Blood, Fractions Policy and Milk Products compared

  i was reading the post a while back from "v" on blood policy and fractions where it was compared to a ham sandwich.

  this was a good illustration, but i thought it lacking a bit in that the components exist on their own as food items rather than derivatives.

  This is one of the more logical statements on this site.

  GB were "traveling overseers" who have been granted a true traveler's ultimate lifestyle - a lifetime of weekly travel around the globe.

  Shaving: Wet or Electric?

  something i ponder about now and again.

  i don't shave that much, maybe twice a week so it's not even a big deal, but i saw someone at the health club using an electric shaver and that got me pondering all over again.. .

  i've been using mach iii recently and fairly happy with that.
