Oh my God, I knew it!!!

i am a big fan of the group 30 seconds to mars, and whats amazing is many of their songs seem to have a anti cult theme like "huricane" "up in the air" and others.

so after i watched a video of the song huricane, so i could see the lyrics i googled to see if they, the lead singer jared leto and his brother shannon, were former jw's and yes they were.

crazy small world!!!!.

the past number of months have been traumatic for myself and my family.. the fascist practices of the wts have wreaked monumental harm to us all - with 3 members hospitalized for suicide.. researching past events brings one to the overwhelmingly sad story of bethany hughes, and her parents lawrence and arliss.. (arliss was featured years later on a dc for her courage through their ordeal.).

The non-witness people that I have so far consulted are flabbergasted at the WTS reality. Documention means everything (I'm a "knowledge worker").

There are already Supreme Court of Canada decisions that are directly relevant.

The legal process that I have started shoud have important repurcussions for, not just Canada, but Commonwealth and common-law countries, but globally.

Think global, as they say.

i think this is a hush hush topic among jws but i remember years ago at an assembly i saw two sisters(i am only assuming they were jws they could have been studies or relatives of jws) walking arm and arm like a married couple.

some of the jws looked at them like they had horns.

some of the jws moms were covering their small children's eyes and those two women were stared at like they had the plague.

The management of magazines was always a problem for me.

Some issues could be all placed in one day. Others were just unplaceable, and stored in the basement.

One sister would accept the unplaceables and would often distribute 200 per month.

That being said, still no bums in the seats.

And going digital will make a difference - yeah right.

after knowing ttatt for many years now...i had made up my mind long ago that after 2014, i would no-longer subject myself to the boredom, pain, and frustration of following this cult...the wt...the borg.. so...i made up my mind that since the wtbts/gb makes such a big deal as to the "significance" of the year 1914 and this year 2014, there can be no greater time for me to leave it all behind.

i daydreamed of how awesome and telling it would be if everyone that could ( because i do know that some have personal circumstances of their own, as i did too) would just .... walkout...never to attend/step foot in a kingdom hall from that moment on.. independence day of sorts?

there is too much evidence, too many videos, blogs, books, news reports and lawsuits for me to keep lying to myself.

I feel fully CONFIDENT and COMFORTABLE in just quitting SUDDENLY. Personally I feel this will have the biggest impact.

That is a great idea. Shaking hands and saying goodbye without yet being DA'd/DF'd would be memorable for those to whom you do so.

quite the shocker... the society's lawyer statesthere is no true physical body of people, but only a theological arrangement.

During the court hearing on October 11 , legal counsel for the Watchtower Society, Rachel van Witsen, from Vincent Toole Solicitors (the WTS's in-house law firm located inside Bethel, Australia) made a statement on behalf of the Watchtower Society that:-

"The faithful and discreet slave is not a legal entity."
