I am a big fan of the group 30 seconds to Mars, and whats amazing is many of their songs seem to have a anti cult theme like "Huricane" "Up in the Air" and others. So after I watched a video of the song Huricane, so I could see the lyrics I googled to see if they, the lead singer Jared Leto and his brother Shannon, were former JW's and yes they were. Crazy small world!!!!

I see an an interview with the subject of men with long hair on inquisitr.com where Jason Bartlett, a former JW, is interviewed and mentions Leto after stating that he (Bartlett) was raised a JW, not Leto.

Wow, that song Hurricane blew my mind, thanks for starting this thread and posting that link. Never heard of this group but will listen to more. I can definitely see ex-JW themes in those lyrics.

I'm sorry but it seems pretty silly to say they "faded until 2005" when Jared was a TV heartthrob in the 90s. Not very under the radar!
