What Would Happen If The Governing Body All Went On A Iboga Trip
by Brokeback Watchtower ini have in the past micro dosed on iboga, shrooms, i can tell you that they work a lot of good brain activity and even generate new brain cells.
it also starts redirecting neuron to fire different pathways promotes good neuron health a kind inner brain massage which in the process brings up old forgotten memories stored ages ago and sorta reprocesses them in a new light of the present.
this stuff iboga is genuinely good but you have to treat it with respect and do you homework of finding out how to best use it.. have a look at some of these vids perhaps briefly skim them and then picture the gb doing the stuff and what would happen.

Did I imagine a brief thaw in the Watchtower injunction against going to university?
by slimboyfat inokay i was talking to an elder and he said me going to university was a bad idea and i should have listened to the society and not gone.
but i said that when i went to university the watchtower was saying it might not be a bad idea to go to, as long as you do it for the "right reasons", don't associate with worldly people, and keep clear of "damaging ideas".
but basically they said it was okay, in this "changing world" and job market to go to university.

As per post to jwfacts.
In the early 90's, it had become acceptable 'if necessary.'
Forum members have posted that this was Lloyd Barry's influence, and after his death, they went back to being anti-education.

Churches helping neighbors instead of JW"s
by life is to short inlast week where i live we had the worst wind storm in the history of our area.
we had gust of 71 miles an hour from 3 in the afternoon till 8 at night.
it was like a hurricane at times the wind did sound like a freight train.

WT official position - "If you want to help people, the best way is by going door-to-door with the Kingdom message."
FROM THE PLATFORM.
Always stuck in my craw.
A few meetings ago, Sister Uber Pioneer parrots these words.
Makes me want to vomit (amongst other things).

yes some on GB now in 50s - so if they live as long as Franz or Barber etc - the possible date for Armageddon has been moved forward 40 years - past my life time.Okay, is WT spending way too much time on Apostate websites?

Didn't get the Watchtower today at all
by Pioneerbot ini know it's dumb to think it would make sense.
i've been telling myself to lay low because everytime i ask a question now my husband says i have a negative attitude and i sound like an apostate.
hmmm wonder why.

If hubby said that - here's a strategy.
First off, WT views letters as "spiritual weakness." If they eventually answer, they notify the writer's congregation elders about the correspondence.
So, I suggest telling hubby that you feel that it would be presumptuous for a woman to directly contact the Society. So, you would be more than willing to jointly compose the letter, but to respectfully send it in his name.
Fallout may take a number of months, but it will come - in only a positive way for you (and ultimately, for hubby).

If God were your Dad, then you would be a sibling to ToMo.
That's not possible, because you may recall, that ToMo appeals to his Big Brother (Jesus).
Sorry, Pioneerbot, but your smaller-then-men cranium is showing.
However, commendation is warranted that you are asking these questions of your head.
In future, we would recommend that you continue this course, and no longer submit questions to persons that are not your head.
Christian Love and Greetings,

Jehovah's Witnesses May Have Peaked in Membership at 8 Million (+/-)
by OnTheWayOut ini don't have all the details of their new "service year" numbers, but i have read enough on jwn to state my opinion pretty strongly.. memorial attendance for 2015 was down.while they kept saying they were going to build a bunch of new kingdom halls, and everybody is still in recovery from watchtower taking all the local money away, they say pretty much that there isn't enough money to build new kingdom halls.putting gb members on the videos at jw .
org has allowed people to really put a face and personality to these guys and remove the mystery of how they should be such deeply spiritual serious men.
instead they see silly thoughts about tight pants and, really everything that comes out of lett's mouth is delivered ultra-goofy, along with the money reports.. the gb lost credibility a little more with every new light that shone down, with the strangest one being "overlapping generation.

Flipper, I don't think that they'll admit old doctrines were wrong any time in the immediate future

27 Q. Is that something that you foresee might happen ‐ in
28 other words, that an apology at least be considered?
29 A. The Governing Body has apologised on other matters, so
30 for me to say ‐ I can't speak collectively for everybody,
31 but we have apologised on things in the past, in other
32 areas, so it is perceivable.BULL-F***ING-SHIT.
These pompous pieces of excrement have NEVER apologized for a single thing, and never will.

Then there are the 15 regular pioneers and 10 auxiliary pioneers (on average) in the congregation! You'd think that with that many full time 'ministers'--meeting attendance would be on the rise, with a new face here and there on a regular basis....nada, zip, zilch! No newbies, no interested ones and definitely very, very low baptism numbers!
I am also aware of uber-congos with 20 RP's and the huge AP's during the "special" campaigns.
Results? ZERO new faces.
