how do you feel when people use illegal means while performing their activism to shed light on the watchtower.
there have been people who have illegally recorded conversations with elders and with branch offices or at meetings.

What do you think of elders lying in court?
What do you think of elders and the branch not reporting child abuse?
What do you think of Headquarters not obeying court orders?
What do you think of GB members not obeying subpoenas?
Does this smack of a criminal organization?
Is it more important to discuss the ethics of an organization, or of the ethics of dealing with an unethical organization?

I am seeing more and more that the org is more reactive than proactive. A lot of times, when there's some change, important article, etc., it's because the org is reacting to something that affects it.
And even then, it's only after 20 years have gone by.

i found out a patient can donate their own blood, so it can be used for elective surgery...i was wondering if theirs really any difference between a blood transfusion of your own blood and the blood salvage procedure.
i think quite similar since its just a re-transfusion of your own blood.. what are your thoughts?
Yes, there is a big difference.
The elders with a financial interest in the distribution of blood-salvage equipment make no money in autologous transfusions.

so today the well-respected and serious newspaper trouw.nl came with child abuse within the jw as their topmost frontpage article.. the articles are well researched and aim primarily at the dutch jw situation.. afaik at least on member of this forum assisted the newspaper with the articles.

i've noticed that some elders will insist on getting a special bethel speaker for memorials, special talks, or sometimes for no reason at all!
i believe they are trying build connections they can use later, but who pays for it?
the congregation does and as a former account servant i can tell you airfare isn't all that cheap.
Our congo had a Bethelite move in, and he recently became COBE.
Naturally, he gives talks at the SAD and at the RC.
He is horrible.
