  Chinese food, ADDICTIVE

  man i had some chinese food tonight and it like must have an addictive chemical in it.

  i couldn't stop eating it.

  my first job was at a chinese place washing dishes and i ate the stuff all the time then and never got sick of it then.. perhaps it is demonized eh!.

  LOL, Beans, I hear ya! My first job was as a waitress at Chinese restaurant (very good one, too!), and after all the free meals, I thought I would never eat anything else! Only problem was, any food gets tiresome after a time! What's your favorite? I love General Tsao's Chicken, Peking Duck (a little rich, but in the good sense, like fine chocolate), and of course, the old standby, anything sweet-and-sour!

  We did it, we got out!

  we moved out of my parents house last week.

  this was so difficult since im df'd and they were only talking to me since we were living with them.

  of course i was prepared for what was coming, the yelling, talking, and especially the guilt trip.

  Back in my fast-food job days, I used to work at Pizza Hut. I worked there for two years, and at the time it seemed like the best job I ever had. One day I got in a fight with my manager and quit. I had just quit smoking that day, and couldn't handle it anymore, so in a fit I ran across the street to the Chevron to get a pack of smokes. I knew the clerk there, and told here what had happened, and that I didn't know how I was going to make it without a job. We chatted for a while, and then I sat outside and had a cigarette. A few minutes later, the manager came out and hired me on the spot! She later became a good friend of mine, and helped me leave my abusive husband and move out of state! I guess it wasn't something unusual that I did per se, but the circumstances were.
