I am a poet, but not a very good one. I've only been published through poetry.com, and it's basically just a book of shlocky amatuer work printed up to get you to buy the book, since no one else is really going to buy it. I guess I can post a poem of mine:
Loves Demise:
Romeo has left the building, Cyrano has taken leave,
Cassanova caught a virus, DonJuan died last Tuesday eve.
Women faint, or fall to weeping, men hurrah, and cheer this day.
First chivalry, inured with Arthur, now winged love has flown away.
Autumn's come to reap it's holdings, winters frosty rime does cling,
Love accepts this withered knowledge, that no seeds will be sown this Spring.
I like writing goofy poetry!!! ~Tamar

Fictional Character whose personality you most resemble: Frasier Crane.
He he, and you know what? Frasier always got the finest ladies. I'm not posting my vital statistics, the only one I'm interested in already knows them! Great thread, though, Petty!!!

Rainbow (er, um...laylaluv ;)) welcome to JWD! :)
by onacruse inhttp://www.jehovahs-witness.com/7/60267/908385/post.ashx#908385 i have resolved in my heart and mind to be who i am.
i know with this decision that my family will continue to shun me.
however, i am much happier with myself to be who i am than to be something fake.

Anyone ever have this?
by Country Girl inmy therapist says that i have post traumatic stress disorder.
one of the many symptoms of this is hypervigilance.
if i hear a sudden sharp noise, i immediately jump twenty feet in the air and scream.

Welcome to the board, Makaveli! I have the same thing, mostly trying to judge peoples moods, because I'm so terrified of what their reactions will be. I also have a hard time at night, listening to every creak and groan of the house, and having to tell my self over and over that there's no one there, the doors are locked, etc. It's gotten a lot better, I don't wake up terrified in the middle of the night anymore, so I think it just takes time. I also do a lot of reasoning with myself in my mind, giving myself logical solutions to why someone is frowning, what that noise in the kitcken was, etc.

I got the job
by berylblue inthanks so much to everyone for their support over the past weeks.. .
tim interviewed me every night this past week in order to get me ready.
it was grueling and i was in tears (not due to any pressure from him, but because of my own inadequacies); i've relied in the past on my personal warmth and integrity to get jobs but really needed to learn how to answer difficult questions.

Well, in the natural remedies department, I would suggest taking calcium and magnesium regularly, as they help with muscle tone and are involved in transmission of nerve impulses. Primrose oil is an anti-inflammatory and vasodilator (helps to dilate the blood vessels that normally constrict during a migraine). An herbal tea that may help is Licorice, chamomile, peppermint, valerian and white willow bark. Valerian is a natural relaxant (and the precursor to valium), and white willow bark contains salicylic acid, which is used in aspirin. I would mix 1 part licorice, valerian, and white willow bark to 3 parts chamomile and peppermint. Steep in hot, but not boiling water for 3 minutes. Feverfew may also help. A mixture of Skullcap and Valerian root is great to help you relax, and if you have difficulty sleeping. It may help to relax your knotted muscles. Hope that helps!
(Note: Do not use licorice for more than 7 days in a row,as it can raise your blood pressure, and do not use Chamomile if you are allergic to ragweed)
