Marijuana for migraines?

so yesterday i had such bad migraine (with all of its accompanying symptoms...) that i ended up at er for narcotics and re-hydration.

this was after excruciating pain for 7-8 hours thinking "just a little more time and it'll easy up.

" wrong.. anyways, they grogged me up with atavan, thorazine and one other i can't recall... and i'm still pretty unsteady on my feet today.

Odrade, we HAVE to get together sometime! Maybe we can nab some other apostates for an informal get together. I've been busier than a one legged man in an a$$ kicking contest lately, but I can make time for my 'postates! I'll PM you my #. (((((((Odrade))))))

There is a new drug for migraines that they are testing (can't remember the name) that stimulates the endocannibinoid system (stimulating the "pleasure centers" of the brain, and reducing the hyperactive neurotransmission that causes migraines). In effect, it is releasing cannibinoids in the body in order to stop the migraine. I think (this is my personal unproven opinion) that smoking a fatty would have much the same effect. It's what I do when a migraine is coming, and I haven't had a migraine in months. Just my $.02.

the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!

they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

Lets see here.......when I divorced my first husband, I gave him everything, left with the clothes on my back (literally), when I left my ex boyfriend, left with the clothes on my back and a greyhound ticket, new boyfriend I met while he was (still is) unemployed. None of them would fit the typical sterotype of "good looking", and none of them ever had high paying jobs. In fact, I tend to be the one who pays becuase I tend to be the one who makes more money. I think love wins out over money every time.

friggin hec knows what i want to write about, nowt really is on my mind, no worries, no strife, no upset emotions, i know i'm tired, been looking at plant nurseries all day, toring garden centres, weighing up plant prices.

was a bloomin lovely day, especially visiting trewithen gardens and the nursey there, incredibly cheap prices, well impressed.. tomorrow i have a freneticly busy day, appointments all over the place, 3 deals to close around $20,000 worth of work.

my new car to pick up in the morning, an appointment with the bank at 4pm in the afternoon and a new client to see at 6pm.
