  there we may read the most contadictory statements of the watchtower society, which shows how deceptive and ignorant is the jehovah's witnesses religion.. .

  Most of these church father's writing themselves were likely forgeries... As for John writing John this is problamic in many ways. Ireanuis writing are admitably forgeries of the late second and early third centuries and even if a guy did pen John named John what portion did he pen?

  1. The seven signs from John 1-15?

  2. The Prayer in 16-18 (An addition)

  3. The passion in 19,20 (based on the gospel of Pontius Pilate so early second century)

  4. The last chapter likely very late in early third century

  5. Lastly the 7:53-8:11 narritive... added after the Vulgate 400+CE

  as i was growing up in a household with my grandparents, i heard a certain phrase hundreds of times, "well, you know what they say .

  and i wondered: "who are "they"?.

  it was my first encounter with shapeless, formless, invisible, abstract, non-descript, and anonymous authority.. the premise seemed to say:.

  It's All About Tablets

  well, that seems to be the latest hot thing amoung witnesses.

  everybody buys a tablet.

  even the poor families that eat carb heavy meals are gettin' em.. maybe they can't afford the latest apple product like the maxi/mini pad or whatever they're calling it these days so a trip to ebay or overstock.com fills the bill.. use it instead of a songbook.

  Some of the older ones were complaining about all the tablets here and the brothers using them on stage. After the demo in the KM last week though the elder giving the part said firmly:

  "THIS IS THE WAY THE FAITHFUL SLAVE IS GUIDING US AND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KEEP UP WITH THEM.... THERE IS THE DOOR."

  Jam I f i remember from the Quran Adam and Eve were in Heaven in Eden(Eden is in heaven) They were later sent to earth.

  To compund this problem many that belive Jesus existed ( i don't) say that these stories in the gospels in Matt. 24, Mark 13, luke 21 are abiut 70CE and Jerusalem's destruction. I find this unlikely. It is more likely the event being described is 136 CE in another revolt.

  i am currently an skeptic, but i have to admit that i can't assure that all the stuff of early christianity was false.. for instance, we know that the genuine letters of paul were written before the destruction of jerusalem.

  so, paul affirmed that jesus resurrected, though he was not there when it supposedly happened.

  but, if jesus did not resurrect, why didn't the jews expose this falsehood?.

  Don't take any drugs. Except Melotonian.

  I have learn to control my sleep to the effect that I can get dreams when I want them. The secret to sleeping quick is to try NOT to sleep. (The drug I listed above is anot a drg is is an increse of a natural chemical your liver produces that streches you sleep cycle out... use it.

  Once done try to stay awake... unless you are silled in meditatin.. you will fall asleep... Happened many times to me... almost every night... it's VERY VERY hard to shut your body down and keep your mind awake.... 95% of the time I sleep first...

  Despite onlt getting 4-5 hours lseep on weekdays I still feel somewhat relaxed by this ,ethod.

  Contradictory geneology of Jesus

  so i'm reading another carl sagan book and he seems to invariably find a way to slam j-dubs in each one.

  (i can't say i blame him.).

  anyway, in this one he discusses the fact that the gospels give contradictory geneologies of jesus--differing lines back to david from joseph, and a different number of generations.

  This is a dumb point... the earliest gospel we have ecord of with a geneology is 'the Gsopel of thr Lord' (Pre-luke) written by Marcfion probably... this geneology places Jesus as not one almost... the Matthew (Jewish) gospel written later places Jeus later but note.. they skip 3 generations on purpose
