Thank Jehovah for Ipads!

seriously, i am so thankful that the org has officially allowed the use of ipads and tablets at the kingdom hall!.

it is the only thing that keeps me sane while sitting there....being able to log on to this site while pretending to follow along with the program!.

i think i would have literally lost my mind without this lifeline!.

My Parents have gone FULL CULT MODE! Having a job is SATANIC!

to give a little background, my parents are in their late 50s.

around a year ago, my elder dad got laid off from his job.

he worked as a auto mechanic making ok money.

BU2B: Here is my take....i am not sure of you employment or financial status. But, it seems to me that they may be setting up things so the could mouch off you. (sorry for the express)

I have seen many dubs do this....to me, it is kind of trend these day.

i agree, go see a lawyer and a counseler. it sucks to have mates who choose the borg over there marriage!

I have two take aways from the zoned out meeting

out of three hours only two things really caught my attention.

i was surprised there was no special annoucements or more new light.

the first thing is that we know that the org is having a difficult time having young males reach out to be a ministerial servents to carry microphones and adjust the height of the podium.

Zordion: a brainwashed JW has no brain cells. they have been washed away. as is the case of my wife.

has for seeing guys with women out of there league....I see all the time. and point this out to my wife.

Small (tiny) victories

i had a conversation with my wife today about child abuse as it's in the news, and i managed to slip in the fact that wt (not an individual, but the .org itself) has just been ruled against in the states to the tune of 13 million or so.

she knows i'm opposed to the procedures we have in place, and she can definitely see that it makes sense to go straight to the police, and said she would do immediately if it were our children.

we had a fairly local case where the elders positively marched the offender to the station themselves, and good for them for doing so, but she most likely thinks everyone would do that out of common sense.

I pointed the article to my wife about the JW lawsuit and mentioned there alot more lawsuits. without blinking an eye she said Jehovah will weed out these people. ( SO BRAINWASHED SHE IS)

i mentioned the 2 witness rule, I don't think she full got the jist. I then said I would go straight to the authorities.

she than said, thats why we don't let them go to the bathroom alone.

Lately she has been in full cult mode. IT IS GETTING OLD.

I truely believe she is one of those witnesses that has a very low I.Q. maybe around 88.

Intersesting Halloween for the GTTM family

well as i have stated before, both our boys do mma fighting and training as do i. this past weekend we had a good practice.

went to get a bite to eat and our way home our younger son said...hey, lets go look at the trick or treaters.

both me and my wife said ok. .

Alphaman: the only person in her immediate family thats a jw is her mom and she is very old. her husband (not my wifes dad) is ubuer dubber but setting a bad example with our family right now.

on my side no one is in.

if she saiid right now i am not ever going back, i would not be hard.

and BTW: I don't speak to no one at the hall. no go out on service. maybe once a month for a coffee break. LOL
