ENCOURAGING VISIT!?!?

about a week ago, i had my "encouraging visit!

" it was real last minute, and i said , "yes!

" they were not expecting that, and they missed their dinner.

I am so sorry to hear youR wife puts the BORG, before you...you should remind her that the bible say's. Let no man pull apart what God has yoked together.

In other words, she sould consider her marriage more important than the BORG. I too have expressed to my wife that I dont' agree with what the BORG teaches. She made a comment about going to the brothers. I told her that that woud cause a huge amount of problems. none of which she is ready to go through.

sometimes she will say things about what she thinks she know....i usually counter with a comment that shows different. I than say...we will not talk about the JW beliefs...because I don't feel like arguing. 99.9% of the time we don't talk about the JW's. when we do our family study it is strickly about the bible.

one thing that truely bothers me is...she really has never been taught about Jesus. So she never talks about him or includes him. I have shown her over and over how important Jesus is and what the bible say's about him. I take it she has been brainwashed so long she may never wake up.

it was a long time coming for me.....when i read about the extened generations, after being raised on1914 being the be all end all, and millions would never die....that was the end.

i was part of the 1975 fiasco, the 6 month only truth book studies, suffered through a disifellowshipping and their version of a rewind.

i finally am free and hope others can eventually look in instead of inside looking out!

i started having doubts when they started changing the wheat and weed stuff and the final straw was the generation BS.

do my own research I found that stated in 1john2:21

the truth does lie, all i see if lies...i am still tryig to wake up my wife.

she made a commment a few days ago that bothered me and showed how deeply she was brainwashed. I was trying to tell here about the faithful and discreet slave and how it has changed so many times. she stated i don't care about the past. i just care about now, they have the truth she said.

I was like really....luckly we have only been in 6 years and half of that being baptized. don't associate with jw's anyways. we think they are shallow. she feels the same.

Were you 100% in?

i was baptized in 1968. last meeting 2010. i have to say i was never 100% in.

there were times i absolutely believed, but i never really gave it my all.

never liked service, assemblies, meetings.

i think i was 100% in for about 2 months....i peaked early. I am about 20% in and droping and wife is about 40%, she might she is higher but she doesnt relize she is much lower and does service and meetings out of guilt. my son is 0% he thinks it a crock of $hit and he is only 14.

it turns my stomach when i see the WT zombies......but ofter wonder how many are also just going thru the motions.

the only way i can sit through the meetings is due to having my tablet and connection to this forum!.

since awakening, i can't believe how much i cringe each and every meeting when i hear all the propaganda and garbage spewed out from the bible and the society!.

i only cope by venting on here.. (plus it is so easy when sitting at the back of the hall or on the sound control box... hahaha).

Thanks Stuckinarut2, Joining this cult 6 years ago was a hug mistake...i thought originally it would help the marriage and the family life (not that it was bad before) but just make it that much better with god in our lives. hmm i still want Jesus and Jehovah in our lives....but not the Borg!!!!! Some of the worst people i have meet are JW's. just very incosiderate and pompus.

I also have everyone in my family on tablets. So easy to tune out from the false teachings they are spewing. i too take time to surf and look at other bibles during the meetings. I wish we could just stop going!

but, My wife is to blinded to see all the lies and contridictions. like i just hope overtime this will change.

I said on a earlier post. We have only been in 6 years. I never changed my life style...we don't spend time with other brothers and sisters. we have always been very private people. also early on we saw that most the brothers and sisters are idiots and not people we would invest time in a make friends with...also we don't encourage our kids to have jw friends because we also found that pretty much all the kids are fake and in general not good people. worldy kids we have found are so much more respectful and genuine.

note: both my wife and I are on the same page on this.

so bottom line is the tablets make the meeting bearable.

I feel the BORG needed to update the NWT to support there ever changing false doctrine here in the present and in the future. I have to say...out of the bibles i have read. I do like the old style NWT....the new one is bunk!!!!!!.

Scriptural Basis for Obedience to GB?

what is your scriptural justification for your unquestioning obedience to the governing body and your unwillingness to question their intepretation of scripture?.

Obedience to GB, we find what happens when we subject ourselves to earthly men and there doctrines. it is so sicking to hear sheeple at the meeting drone on and on about the GB, about the watchtower. I am in the process of fading..just need my wife to see the false doctrine. it will take time...but i have started studying just the bible with her and pointing out things. but not trying to cause a fight...I back off when i feel the resistance. Damn Witnesses!!!!!

Thanks for the comments and clarification.....I started to study 10 years ago and got baptized a couple of years later. I was missled and told i got baptized in the name of Jesus. Turns out I wasn't....after time and many assemblies it dawned on me from the baptismal talks that there is never a mention about being baptized in the name of the father, son and holy spirit, much less Jesus. turns out I was baptised to the Borg....as a broucher pedaler.

my eyes were opened a couple of years ago...so have not lost alot of time to it...also i have never changed my living style. Fact is, If the POS elders, CO and other are not paying my bills so Don't tell me how to live. I have not problems kicking someones ass, it doesn't bother my concience..i was brought up pretty rough area where I live.

So F&ck the Elders/ WT/ Borg! If I got DF'd people in the hall could kiss my A$$.

it clearly states new information with be revealed after the 1000 years. So how could new information be divulged before then? Is there a scripture that supports this New Light information?

How did all this New Light stuff start?

The sheeple are lead to the slaughter by the Borg....and the Elders don't care. And if elders actually now what they teach is wrong. The blood of those lives they are misleading is on there hands and they will be judged according to there deeds.
