i was out on service with a older person in the congo, he was jobless, but only because he didn't want to work i guess. not sure.

well anyways, walking by a nice house in service...he pointed to a huge house on the hill and said "when armagedon come, i am moving into that house"

i know that many have heard this comment before....but, when you hear it the first time. i was like WTF.

My first thought was, how insensative you are. this is the same person who kinda started opening my eyes about the troof.

again we were out in circus and he asked me " why do the partaker numbers keep going up?". it got me to think. yep, it was the first crack in the vase.

My fade might well start today.

many here whom have read my previous posts know more or less my situation.

wife is not hardcore but we still bump heads from time to time.

if it wasn't for this cult, and while it was not an issue, we had an almost perfect marriage.

i feel for you star trek.

right now i go to the meeting to shield my kids. every chance i have...i tell them how many lie they are being told. also i make sure that my kids dont associate with any witness kids, stay active with wordly stuff. focus on education, it's always a battle when your spouse is a full dub ( like ours are)

i take it one day at a time....man, this cult has taken it toll on my marriage. not sure how long we will last. but, i will keep shielding my kids until they can tell my wife for themselves that they don't want nothing to do with the cult.

JWs have more good points than bad

1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).

2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.

this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.

Is it true? Heard a rumor WT postphones Disfellowshipping until further notice!!??

i am not sure if it's true but i heard from a good source that wt has given instructions to elders to postponed disfellowshipping members from wrong doing/gross sin until further instructions given by headquarters.

i heard some jws were just reproved either privately or publically.

has anyone else heard anything like this recently?
