San Jose, CA to Texas - via IH-10

okay... this is _sorta_ a 'reunion' - so i posted it here.. i will be flying out to san jose tomorrow (april 27th), and then driving back to texas via ih-10.

(i think we are going to start off by coming through part of los angeles.).

this will take me through all sorts of interesting places that i have never been... (i've been to san jose, ca - but not out ih-10).. anyway... i think that it would be really really really cool if i could meet (even if just over the phone) some of you folks - who might be in this 'path'.. so... if you feel 'brave' enuf to want to meet up with a nerd - and trust that i am not psychotic... neurotic, or any of those other 'otics', then perhaps... if you could pm me... i can give you my e-mail addy, and we could then exchange a phone number or something.. i leave tomorrow... i know this is pretty sudden-like... so... you will need to make a 'coin-toss' decision - and pm me tonight... or no later than tomorrow am.. i hope that i can at least talk to... or meet... one person from this forum in the next few days.

Inventing your own mythological guru (Jungian)

i have been reading about carl jung and the archtypes from the collective unconscious.. i think it very benificial to fantasize or imagine your own personal guru,, to guide you through life,,to have genuine coversations with this mythological figure of your imagination.

i feel such a figure can grow to be quite an asset in dealing with your lifes problems.

they say there are 12 basic types or archtypes,,have any here tried this approach?

That was cool,,,,,I think you can make good energy to control your enviroment. Just like you think to move your arm and it does,,so too you can channel energy to heal,,harm,,even win a prize. You must have a mythical figure to beleive in(or several),,what his or her name??

When I was about 14yrsold I was at a freinds house,,we were finished lifting wieghts,,and looking for something to do. He suggested playing with the ouija board,,I never had,,but was excited to try it.

I asked it how many hands of poker I would win out of 5,,we played cards and it happened just like the board said.

I asked it who I would marry and how old I would be when I got married,,the board spelled out M then A and I was getting excited because I had a crush on this girl named Mary and the next letter was R,,oh good I thought I'm going to marry Mary,,but the next letter was "I" not Y,,this kind of diappointed me the next 2 letters were O, and N.

My freind Eddy started making fun of me because Marion is a boys name. We got in our usual wrestling match fights over the fact he was saying I was going to marry a guy. I quickly forgot about the whole thing.

About 30 yrs latter,,I remember the Ouija board thing, This make me worried because it came true,,my wife name is Marion,,her mother didn't know it was a boys name and we got married when I was 23 years old. We never new each other,,she lived in NYC and I in CT. At that time of recall I still beleive the WT,,This was very puzzleing to me because I thought the Ouija baord is the Demunzz. I never told my wife about this untill today.
