  Are the trolley dollies* getting any results? Or, is it just another waste of life?

  Stupid waste of time. Even in rural areas they are setting up. They are at expressway rest stops in our circuit. I have heard of zero results beyond placing some literature. About the same amount of success as DtoD work.

  Will the Watchtower ever turn against K-12 public education?

  when i was in school, you never heard about critical thinking skills...not till you started taking college level courses.. i work closely with the public education community.

  now, the big rage in public education is instilling critical thinking skills from kindergarten on up.. and i'm in texas!

  imagine what it's like in more liberal areas.. i would not be surprised if the watchtower started denigrating and discouraging public education (k-12).. it would likely start like this: .

  Caleb and Sophia both go to school. If the Borg wanted to push home school that would of been the perfect opportunity. It's always been said that school is the dub kids personal territory to preach in. Regardless many Dubs in the Midwest do homeschooling. I figure at least 50% in our circuit are Home schooled.

  I know of several that get the stipend. Similar to a special pioneer. One is an ex bethelite and one is an ex-CO. It's not a lot. Also I believe that If someone from the local Congo where u go gives you a place to live this is taken into account and your stipend is lowered. The ex bethelite is expected to put in special pioneer hours but the ex-CO is not due to his age.

  when the huge hypocrisy of jw.org will be fully unveiled and governments or other authorities are decided to put an end to it, what will happen in the mind of the rank and file jws ?

  Demoted from elder to MS, anybody ever heard of this?

  so a friend in a nearby hall told me their co came through, and in a hellish week of long meetings and inquisition overhauled the boe.

  only one remains as elder, three were re-appointed as ms, and one, the cobe was deleted entirely.. two new elders were brought in as new secretary and cobe / watchtower conductor, respectively, and introduced to the congregation from the platform on sunday immediately following his second talk.

  he reminded everybody of the authority he has and then named the new appointees.

  I am a firm believer that the GB aren't full blown scammers but rather are fully deluded. With that in mind I'm really not sure what their "master plan" is. In their minds how does this further the Borgs cause? Maybe they really are in money trouble. I've always thought that they had more cash than they can handle but maybe this monster of an organization is extremely cash hungry.

  the elders promised that we would talk about everything that was bothering me, yet, we ended up talking about less than 10% of it.

  Hey joe. I've thought about approaching it with my dad as well. Is your dad a deep thinker? My dad is and I have hopes that he might eventually start questioning the Borg. But on the other hand he is in his mid sixties and is an elder. For him to wake up now would be incredibly difficult.

  was talking to an ex-bethelite who is still very well-connected to those in the ivory tower.. he says that there will soon be a(nother) large number of us bethelites who will be "reassigned to the field" as pioneers and special pioneers.. he did not give his source, but he is pretty reliable.

  incidentally, he was "reassigned to the field" in the last big purge about 7 years ago.. i imagine those so reassigned would be pretty teed off.

  let go just before the golden lakeshore palace was completed..

  My bro in law DA-ed a few years back. He did nothing to try to convince any of us. He just left. I think I was already waking up before that though. We were never close and live in different parts of the U.S. I haven't ever told him that I am awake. I want to but it's tricky. As far as he knows I still view him as a mentally diseased appostate. But in reality I owe at least a portion of my waking up to him.
