Who are the people in JW TV videos?
by HappyDad inout of curiosity, i have caught a glimpse or two of the "drama" style videos.
are the ones in these televised "dramas" jw's or did they hire actors for the job?
i can't see the average jw being able to do acting as good (if you will call it good) as some of these people.

Dating
by Indy98 ini have been brought up as a jehovah witness and want to date this boy who isn't a jehovah's witness.
we have talked about the trials we could go through and i was wondering because i am a unbaptised publisher could i date him without any consequences?

I'm not sure if u have to be baptized in order to be marked. I think they will give a marking talk for non-baptized publishers as well. This will just mean that people won't do things with u socially. -

working on the assumption that this figure is from not only donations, but from property revenues and other ventures from the branch, we get a figure of $528 per publisher, per year.
the calculation: 60,000,000 / 113,617 (2014 av pubs) = $528 a year per publisher.

by DanielC ini've been dating a jw girl for about 4 years and we've recently had a lot of issues with the fact that her family doesn't like that i'm not a jw.
i've been looking into the religion and am interested in it.
but is it wrong to join just so i don't lose her?

Sounds like they are weak Dubs. The kids that left probably faded and never disassociated or got disfellowshipped. My brother faded and my parents still associate with him. If she is dating a worldly guy "you" then she is definitly not in good standing. A young guy got "marked" at my last hall for dating someone who wasn't baptized. This means that other witnesses would only hang around him at the meetings. No extra association. They stuck thru and eventually got married though.
Is your lady baptized? Does she believe it's "the truth"? If she is awake but only stays in for family reasons then there may be hope.

I could be an elder in 6 months. Prob a cobe in 5 years. Even then though what is the most damage I could accomplish? Very minimal at best. Also not sure I wouldn't crack emotionally.
I would prefer to leave the Borg and live a good life.
