We all woke up one way or another and first we felt anger and cheated. Eventually we learnt to move on and lead a enriching life. Key is to research and be honest to oneself. We are freed. -

What was your eye opening moment?
by WasOnceBlind inif you had to pinpoint the time or experience that finally made you open your eyes, what would it be?.
i think for me it was the time i saw my dad shun his brother who he had not seen in decades just because he was a da'ed jw.
i thought to my self "no way jesus would do that.

"Evidence" of a "smokelike pall"... This was the last straw for me back in 2008. Fade began with this:
by DarioKehl infrom that nutty red book of insanity, the grand climax at hand book, chapter 22, paragraphs 7 & 8. .
i had my doubts since childhood.
i went along with it to please people.

Revelation book used to be my fav book. I thanks Jah for giving the Anointed brothers understanding to the most cryptic part of the scriptures. We studied that 3-4 times in book studies Grp. Tonnes of time we spent on going through this book and later with its revision. Imagine the time wasted when I started to understand TTATT and wake up. The interpretation is full of cr*p. It's men teaching, not God. Same applies for the rest of the publications. -

Talking with JW Elders possibly..
by bradford inas i wrote in a previous post i have recently written a da letter to the elders and haven't heard anything in the way of an announcement, phone call, or visit since.
i called the elder the letter was personally written to yesterday and left a vm to call me back which he did this morning.
he said they did get it but were meaning to call me and possibly meet with me to try and see if there was anything they could do to encourage me because they of course find this very sad.

I prepared our DA letter and pass to one of the elder, let's call him SC. He keep insisting that our meet up included another elder A. I said no. Elder SC is elderly. Just lost his job n juggling to raised a young kid. He is sad that I and my wife DA. We have to as 20 years ago same elders asked me to resign from the churches to baptize as a JW. We just want to be clear in our stand and cut ties with an Org that had departed from practicing the Biblical Truth. Days later BOE called me again to ask if we wana DA. We are put on speaker mode and we said YES. We are finally freed n no more harassment by concerned bros n sis trying to encourage us in the midst of their FS time ( our rest time). Freed at last. We love our weekends with so many fun things to do. We used to dread it due to the repetitive WT meeting n HH knocking on empty doors. -
