  Fatherless Boys

  the wt teaches that "fatherless boys" need special care and attention in the congregation.

  however, as brought out at the rc their definition of "fatherless boys" includes boys that have actual fathers who maybe very well qualified to teach and raise their sons.

  according to wt, if either of your parents aren't jws then you are a "fatherless boy.

  If I were a "worldly" father I would not appreciate someone trying to replace/compensate for me in any way,

  If this is encouraged by Watch Tower it is disturbing,

  How Long Out Before They leave You Alone

  many years ago i met an older man in the ministry who told me he was a baptized jw years ago, when i met him he was an alchoholic and had girlfriends, i told the elders, two came by and they told me to treat him as a regular worldly guy, my question is (i know this is a fuzzy area) about how much time needs to go by before someone (me for instance) would be looked upon as a non jw worldly person?.

  I have family that's in (they all live at a distance), they tend to be by the book so I'm just trying not to give them an "official" reason to shun me if possible,

  Eagerly anticipating the death of billions!

  surely someone who eagerly looks forward to the death of billions of people (including babies and children) is not emotionally healthy?.

  yet, that is the key belief "happily" anticipated by witnesses.... food for thought?.

  In Canada in the 1960s groups of JWs would mount covert operations to sneak sick newborns out of hospitals to "rescue" them from blood transfusions,

  Does this sound mentally balanced to you?

  The PERCEIVED Will of God trumps human life,

  Here's a question for you:

  If JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES were convinced that it was Jehovah's Will, that they today were to go out and slaughter their neighbor men women and children like Israel supposedly did under Joshua, would they do it?

  i was minnow on jwr and when it got shut down i took the opportunity to go quiet as things were starting to get uncomfortable as far as trying to maintain 100% anonymity.. now i'm back and hoping to reconnect with my old friends, like helen travers, tony brock and others.. hope you are all well..
