Just wondering

so i am new to this site.. i have left the organization of my own accord.

and doing very well.. why do those of you who are still active, if you are on this site, still attend?.

it is no differance to me... i am just wondering why.... .

I was too an Elder for many years with Convention speaking assignments. But I was living a double life.

I was DFed and rightly so. I still beived in the WBTS and came back.

It was after my reinstatment that I atarted to look at the organization differantly.

Once my thinking about the truth in the teaching abd control of members it was still hard to make the leap to leave.

I could have never imagined how well all would turn out.

If any are wondering.. just ask some of us. Sent a message if any need help.

Good thought.

Shame many who are in but minds are out can not experiance the joy and freedom when we leave.

I do miss my family. However the many friends I thought I had were CONDITIONAL friends.

The friends I now have are TRUE friends that have no judgement or alternative motives.

One can still beleive in God and Christ without the WBTS telling them what to think.

WTBTS continues to move to paperless

during my last meeting i was approached to see if i would be willing to switch to the electronic version of the km/watchtower.

i thought to myself "i'm way ahead of you here, buddy.

Silence after stating my confusion about "144,000"

the other night, i was told about a question that a friend's bible study had asked them.

the bible study asked: "if jesus is perfect, why does he need the 144,000 to help him rule?

" this friend does not know how to answer this question.

None of the 144k idea is true. When I stand back and look it does not make sence.

I will be interested how they change the understanding of the 144k as more time clicks br

10 years, 20 years.

More "New light" no doubt.

How on earth would you consder Automotive Marketing as being gambling! Many auto companies give out Visa gift cards at malls and auto shows for people to test drive their cars.

I always felt that some day this would happen.. In 20 years as an elder I have seen so much of the crazy political way Elders and MS were appointed.

At the time however I could not see how messed up it was.

After standing back and looking it is all so clear.
