This weeks service meeting! More craziness.....
by stuckinarut2 inso this weeks service meeting is so full of "crazy".
a whole 15 min part devoted to trying to indoctrinate everyone on how to "explain our beliefs on 1914".
then another 15 min part called "a tool to help us explain our beliefs about 1914".

by naja inin the light of the following promises made by jehovah, how can there be an armageddon?.
genesis 8:21: ... so jehovah said in his heart: never again will i cursethe groundon mans account, for the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up;and never again will i strike down every living thing as i have done.. genesis 9:15, 16: and i will certainly remember my covenant that i made between me and you and every living creature of every kind;and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh.and the rainbow will occur in the cloud, and i will certainly see it and remember the everlasting covenant between god and every living creature of every kindon the earth.. does it make sense to say "i will never kill you by a flood, next time i will use fire?

i wish there was away to track the psych job during patterson and other major projects of what happened to all the "friends" that sold and got rid of their livelyhood then and where are they now.. did you ever sacrifce it all for a building project only to be left with nothing after your "spiritual high"?.

My son got DFed and I did help him, even though I was an Elder at the time. I was concerned about his being able to make it through.
He did get re instated and is doing well. I however have chosen to no longer support this organization for many reasons.

Damm.... I missed it....went on a motorcycle ride!
I did contribute though.. $17.40 in gas, $12.70 in beer and a hot dog .
Rode through heavy rain with my buds , so guess I also saw 5 baptized, they were soaked,,
Gratful I made it back befor the GT started... If the world is still here next weekend I shall go again,

However, I find it most interesting that Elders who are still in, weather at Bethel or where ever, are on this site, or You Tube looking for antiWBTS info.
That they read and watch all these posts and videos, and still can not see the "Truth"
If the WBTS is the only true religion, why be concerned about what any video or post says?
Why try to control and censor others. When anyone trys to censor the WBTS , they run to the courts!

Just Curious About Something
by EmptyInside insorry,couldn't think of a better title for this post,without it being long.. i was thinking this morning,if ex-jws, who were born into the group less likely to join another religion after leaving.
vs. the witnesses who belonged to a church before joining the religion.. from my own prespective,being raised a witness,i have no intention of joining any religion.
and it seems that born-ins are less likely to join a religion after leaving the cult.. in my own experience,i think it's religious burn-out to tell the truth.
