  it might just be me imagining things.. i hear things from my jw spies.. from all that's being said, it seems to me that the rank and file(tm), are either waking up to the scam and fading/leaving.

  they are going full on 'cult mode' and acting like 'spiritual police'.. is it just me and my imagination?

  I've checked out JWServey & that has some good info for me. (Friday afternoon) is the one I've chosen.

  Thank you for your help. I watched your videos & I must say I do feel your frustration at the wrongness of the Borg

  I've struggled with containing my distain for the borg & I do all I physically & mentally can to not allow it in but sometimes when my wife comes home with some "great" news about what's going on at the meetings a lot of the old feelings come back. It's the same when we are visiting family where me & my wife come from. I am fully surrounded by top brass (congregation level only not higher) as most of my family are still SUPER in & it tears me up inside, even after 10 years. I'm still paranoid I'm going to get rumbled for doing nothing wrong & I'm just hoping it won't happen until my mother STAUNCH as staunch can be for the last 65 years is dead. Anyway. You keep your dignity well & do so much to help others. Thank you Brother Punk. Phats.

  I was a born in, Married to a born in, read the bible through & through & now in my mid 50s

  The reason was to give my daughter some good ammunition for when she chooses to start her fade.

  When she goes to the meetings & assemblies with my wife she just zones out so when I do talk to her she really doesn't know what it's all about. She just goes to support her mum as my wife gets very upset when she stays home.

  If someone knows of a Corker of a talk I can ask her to concentrate on that & make notes so we can go through it together with critical thinking. Phats.

  Hi Guys,

  Not wanting to redirect anything here as this is all great but could anyone please give me some advise. My 18 year old is already out (For 2 years) but my Wife (Extremely loyal to the borg) & starting to struggle with the BS 14 year old daughter are going to the Bournemouth assembly. I wanted to suggest to my daughter that she rights down all the points in a talk & then when she gets back we can study it & see what's really being said. The questions is. Dose anyone know a good talk that will give me good material to work with so she can start getting some amnumission to help her start to fade? Please. This would help. Phats.

  hay out there.. wife got back from her thursday meeting & now she's setteled down with the dog, a v large g&t (maid be me) & watching terminator 2 on the telly with her ipad on her lap looking up places to go for our holiday (& googling symptoms of to many antibiotics as my 16 year old is getting signs of ibs).

  so now is a good time to say hello.. well hello.

  my name is phats & i'm an ex jehovah's witness.. there, i've said it.. this must be like it is going to your first aa meeting.. i've already used up some of my posts for a newbe but i'm not in to the whole long story thing.. basically i've been out now for 8 years (mentally out for all but four or five of those years of my life when i made the commitment, got baptized & married.).

  Thank you blondie. I have read so many of you coments & they always impress me. I've been told my Avatar is to scary so I'm guess some feel I must be scary to. Well I'm not I promice (Aposty promise) As a quick update as I've not really posted much for 2 years. My eldest daughter is still VERY out & living with a lovely guy & they are so happy. (He is Ex Born in as well) My 14 year old is now looking forward to leaving so here's hoping.

  My wife is still in as she can't seem to let go but she is very deferent to how she was 2 years ago. She is now a lot more wised up she even came with me to a friends birthday party would you believe. Yes. It was in a pub & she was just going to drive me so I could have a drink & them come & pick me up (She is a darling I must say) but as I was getting out of the car she just came with me both holding hands as we walked in, She even had a sing with the band for one song. :) NEVER SAY NEVER people. I would NEVER had though that would ever happen. Peace to you all. Phats. PS. Please do post back. I know my posts can be long but I have have the most crazy time in & out of the cult & I promise with all my heart EVERY word is true & can be backed up. I know they sound a little extreme but they are true. This is such a place to have no point in saying anything other that the real truth. Love.

  having watched many jc youtube videos one question that gets asked is "where else would you go?".

  in other words if not jehovah's witnesses then what other religion or organisation would you go to?.

  it's one that i have trouble answering, what would you say?.

  Why do you need to go anywhere? Ask yourself. Do I need to be told everything I do, think & say. (If you do them you's in Danger.)

  Satan was right. you will have the power to know what is right & wrong & the the borg is screwed. No power = No money stream.

  There are loads of places to go where you can choose the kind of people you mix with.

  Just my thoughts. Phats.
