designs The Watchtower destroyed my infancy. My home was sometimes like a hell divided on account of the Watchtower doctrine. If this new christian group could cause a big damage in this cult, I would thank them.

designs If you want to debunk the Watchtower, the best way is to use firstly the Bible to show that the GB is distorting the context of many passage. If you begin by debunking the Bible, witnesses will reject you.

objectivetruth May be the Study Edition of November 2014 has radicalized some doctrinal points (like the blood ban) as a reaction of some winds of apostasy. This happened with the Watchtower during the critical days of the 80s after Raymond, Dunlap, and others, were disfellowshipped. As I see, the Watchtower is demanding more loyalty, because, may be, there are inner revolts.

We can also share with you that certain members of the Governing Body are having a crisis of conscience. Some of them see death as their solution and means of escape. But there are a few who are being tormented in spirit with many sleepless nights and are prayerfully seeking a way to extricate themselves from their error
If this were true, I doubt that Gerrit Losch is one of them. He is the most sinister mind of the GB after Freddy. Losch is the first against the University. This is my take.
The second one is A. Morris, who is the most stupid. I doubt these two are having a crisis of conscience.

I think that "Anointed Witnesses" are doing a good work in debunking the Watchtower Society. I agree that if you want to be a christian who believe in the NT as inspired, it is absurd to divide the Lord's Supper in two classes. The Society's argument about the "two classes" is easy to destroy. This is a good starting point to show to the Witnesses that their leaders are misleading them.

I come from an ex-jw forum in which a guy started to insult me because I began to write posts against the inerrancy of the Bible. The guy claims to have a degree in theology. So, they told me that "I am a vulgar ignorant". After that, I noticed that some christians, who were Witnesses, are still Witnesses in certain sense. .....However, I found here a freedom to show my thoughts.

I have read the chapter 19 of Isaiah, which scholars of high criticism believe to be authentic, of Isaiah himself. In this chapter there are more than one prophecy for Egypt. My question is, how many of them you found fullfilled and unfulfilled?.... for instance, I have read that some people affirm that verse 16 has already been fulfilled because Israel is currently militarily much greater than Egypt. Ok, but there are other prophecies that I found incredible. ...well, I invite you to read the chapter 19 here :

1.There was a Jesus
2.He did some amazing things and inspired followers who didn't know what to make of him.
3.He gave specific instruction which weren't clearly understood.
4.When he was put to death there was a huge shakeup
5.Many claimed to see him and talk to him AFTER he died.
Yes,...I am following the line of Raymond Brown (a scholar Catholic priest) and Antonio PiƱero (a spanish liberal and secular scholar), and some of Bart Ehrman. They agree that there is a little core of true facts in the four Gospels, but much of them are tampered stories. So, to sumarize, Jesus was a religious Jew who met John the Baptist, and did amazing things, as some modern people, but his crucifixion was unexpected even by him. Then, the disciples tried to justify these facts by quoting and reconfiguring passages of the Old Testament. This led to an interesting social phenomenom, because it initialy created a religious comunity with social protection without racial discrimination (Pauline christianity), someting that worked well in the oppressive world of that time.

Misleading explanation for the fulfillment of the Prophecy against Tyre
by opusdei1972 inas we know, nebuchadnezzar could not conquer the island of tyre, so he could not fulfill what was predicted in ezekiel chapter 26. many years later, ezekiel admitted that the prediction failed in chapter 29:.
17 and it came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the lord came to me, saying, 18 son of man, nebuchadnezzar king of babylon caused his army to labor strenuously against tyre; every head was made bald, and every shoulder rubbed raw; yet neither he nor his army received wages from tyre, for the labor which they expended on it.
19 therefore thus says the lord god: surely i will give the land of egypt to nebuchadnezzar king of babylon; he shall take away her wealth, carry off her spoil, and remove her pillage; and that will be the wages for his army.

As I see, the tablet (BM33041) does not say where the battle was, and as I said, at worse, Amasis lost the battle and went back to Egypt. But as the many records of the activity of the Amasis' reign reveal, "the land of Egypt" (read Ezekiel 29:20) was not given to Nebuchadnezzar nor to his sucessor. Furthermore, the 40 years of desolation of the land and of the egyptian exodus, were intended to be taken literally:
13 Further, thus says the Lord God : At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples among whom they were scattered; 14 and I will restore the fortunes of Egypt, and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin; and there they shall be a lowly kingdom. (Ezekiel 29:13-14)
otherwise, the above words would not make sense.
