  The source who contacted me with the story confirmed to me. I was also hoping that this post would gather other independent confirmation. Perhapse from someone who attended a convention in West Palm, Fl. last month, where he is said to have given a talk.

  google books has just put up a scan of the first edition of millennial dawn volume 3: thy kingdom come (1891).

  this scan is from the 90,000 printing.

  i haven't had a chance to check to see if there are any signficant textual changes from the later editions in this one or not.

  hi wifi.. i don't believe these have been seen before.. one is a general guideline given to elders who report a child safety issue in the congregation, and the second is the form they have to return to the legal department.. they are both recent forms.. the questionnaire has an interesting question at a.6 stating if the legal dept has advised to contact the authorities yes or no.

  I don't believe these have been seen before.

  One is a general guideline given to elders who report a child safety issue in the congregation, and the second is the form they have to return to the legal department.

  They are both recent forms.

  The questionnaire has an interesting question at A.6 stating if the legal dept has advised to contact the authorities yes or no. This implies the legal dept make the decision whether police should be involved or not.

  Also, the form still refers to this act as a sin - see H.1 and H.2.
