one of my abiding memories of the truth was after hard work for years as secretary and then presiding overseer.

three new younger 'pioneers' appointed who clearly wanted the position.

well i did not want it and could see the future chaos and self aggrandisement such younger ones would lead to if given , what they was as, positions of influence.. circuit visit elders meeting with co, i always checked which elder had worked with co and likely brownosed and clawed their way up the appointment ladder.

Memorial Talk Outline
Revision date: 2/17. The last line “Will not partake of the emblems then, so do not partake now” under the subheading “Who Should Partake of the Bread and the Wine?” has been removed. In the English outline, song numbers have been updated for Sing Out Joyfully.

The requested letters are tough to find, because they have been replaced by newer instructions. The instructions were to destroy them.
December 6, 2010 TO ALL BODIES OF ELDERS Re: Correspondence from branch office and congregation file
This letter replaces the letters dated February 15, 2002, December 4, 2008, and December 5, 2008, to all bodies of elders. Those letters should be removed from the congregation permanent file of policy letters and be destroyed.

The 2017 Memorial will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
The 2018 Memorial will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018.
The 2019 Memorial will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019.

in it they talk about how the organization is structuring things in australia to get out of paying money to victims of abuse.

the short version, as i remember it, is that they are making each congregation its own individual charity.

They have borrowed from their own playbook. Instead of inter-branch indebtedness, it is Inter-Charity indebtedness! Akin to debt leveraging.

Inactive Ones: Please follow closely the instructions in the May 23, 2010, letter to all bodies of elders as you endeavor to invite inactive ones to the Memorial and special talk. As you meet with them, please convey the love and concern of the Governing Body and the local congregation. (1 Thess. 2:7, 8) Offer to help with transportation or to provide any other practical assistance so that they can be in attendance.
