a few things i learned from reading this that i wasn't aware of when i was a jw:.
Correct DOC, The correspondence guidelines are for Service desks at branches.
As far as the ks10-E, they have made many updates via letters and verbal CO instructions. The latest version is available through the JWLibrary app. and gets regular updates as changes are made.

i believe the stream begins at 10 am aedt (australian eastern daylight time); you will need to figure out when that is in your local time zone.

We also hope to preserve the live steam video for future reference as the Commission does not archive or make this video available once the live stream is over. However, technical gremlins are always a factor so if you have the ability to record the live stream, it would be a great idea to do so as well. The more people do this, the less chance of this footage being lost forever.
two elders who visited my friend last week encouraged her not to pursue higher studies.
it seems they are dishing out the same old stuff: “the end is imminent, and this is the time to do more in the service; hence don’t waste your resources on higher studies.”.
i wonder whether there was some official communiqué (something that is sent out recently like letter to the elders, or kingdom ministry article …).

that is not being said, many of the friends say, well, jehovah will clean his house first....with all this religious hiding of child abuse...what denomination was exposed/cleaned first...although they were forced they were exposed and many still go to these places of worship.
so are the jw really god's chosen channel.
I don't know how someone can rationalize "God" and this type of policy:

Former Child Abusers Who Move: The March 14, 1997, letter to bodies of elders, page 2, paragraph 3, gives the following direction regarding a former child molester who moves:
"The secretary should write on behalf of the elders to the new congregation's body of elders and outline this publisher's background and what the elders in the old congregation have been doing to assist him."
Please note an exception to this direction: The elders may have written to the branch office and given full details about a former child abuser who is currently serving as an elder or ministerial servant. In such a case, if the branch office has decided that he can continue serving in a position of trust because the sin occurred many years ago and because he has lived an exemplary life since then, it will not be necessary to pass on information about the brother's past sin if he moves to another congregation. Please have the elders make note of this clarification during your visits.
