Here's an interesting video from a black guy who is a former cop.
Interesting …
anyone following the derek chauvin trial?.
if you are actually following it, not just listening to the media, you will likely realize that there is a huge gap between what is going on in court and what is being reported in the media.. if the trial was fair, i think he should be acquitted.
there is plenty of reasonable doubt about the cause of death (his dealer doesn't want to testify because he could be guilty of 3rd degree murder for selling him a fatal amount of fentanyl) and even doubt over whether the officer even had his knee on the guys neck or did anything counter to what they were meant to do as per policy.. but is it fair?

Notice in the sign, it is now customary to capitalize “black” - well, this is just a minor point.
I wouldn't mind the media doing that, as long as they capitalise 'white' as well. But they often don't. The Guardian is the worst example of this that I can think of. Articles will talk about 'white people' and 'Black people' in the same paragraph.
^^^ All in the name of fighting racism and racial discrimination.
most of my friends have gotten the vaccines and are quite confident that it’s just what the doctor ordered.
i’m not confident with dr. fauci.
i don’t like the fact that the makers of the vaccines are not held responsible if someone taking the vac develops an illness or even death.
The truth is no one under the age of five and over the age of 70 dies of the flu - plenty of people over the age of 70 die of the flu every year.

@MMM - yeah, it ain't difficult.
After all vulnerable groups have had their vaccines, get life back to normal - no mandatory masks, no social distancing, no big brother crap.
Life is meant to be lived.
someone gets shot and or killed and hundreds of people decide to loot and destroy businesses or whatever else is in their path.
what does this do to make things better?
i really don’t get how they think it makes things better or solves anything..
This is their life. Running away from the cops and feeling invincible until it’s too late - bingo.
A year ago during the first UK lockdown, it was quite sunny and I fancied a beer so I bought myself a can of beer and walked down the street, on my way to the supermarket. I had only taken one sip when two policemen stopped me. They asked me if I knew it was illegal to drink outside along the high street during lockdown. I said no. So they told me it was and then they told me to pour the can that I'd just bought out onto the grass verge. So I did. They didn't fine me or arrest me and that was that.
Too many people have a problem with authority, especially with police authority. And in the US, where cops carry guns, this can lead to bad or sad outcomes.
Clearly, there are issues with trigger-happy cops that need sorting out, but there are also serious issues with lack of respect for authority, particularly within the African-American community. Until these serious issues are fixed, more people will end up being injured or killed at the hands of the police. <--- left-wing morons label this 'institutional racism' but it's not.

There is a tribe in Vanuatu who worship Prince Philip as a deity.
They are now debating whether or not to start worshiping his eldest son, Prince Charles.

i've read a couple of articles recently about the situation developing in ukraine.. in 2014 putin sent russian troops into crimea and annexed this area.
crimea has either an ethnic russian majority or a substantial russian minority.. there's also an area of eastern ukraine called donbass which, again, either has a large number of ethnic russians or a huge amount of pro-moscow rebels.. so, vladimir putin is currently sending tanks, jeeps, guns and soldiers to eastern ukraine, and ukrainian president volodymyr zelensky is also fortifying adjacent areas with ukrainian troops and military hardware.. nato and biden support ukraine and biden has apparently sent two us warships to the region.. where is this all going?
where is the eu in all this?.

Putin's a real SOB who has warned America 'for its own good' to butt out.
Are we gonna have another war on our hands?
