They cannot accept that the Royal Household has hierarchy and that they both were behind the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William in the pecking order .
They overestimate their own importance.

this site was and remains instrumental in assisting people that want to leave the jw's.. there has been political discussion here for some time now, a good couple of years and it makes me feel a little uneasy.
i just opened up the site for the first time in some weeks, of the 10 posts being discussed, 4 were by the same poster, about politics, promoting their right wing beliefs.. this has been the trend for some time now, the same name behind a peppering of posts stirring the right v left of politics.. i remain forever grateful to the site and it's founders simon & angharad, i appreciate that simon shares some of these these political beliefs.
it would be a shame to see the site evolve from a place for jw freedom of thought and escape, to political squabbling, that the world is frankly tired of right now.. just to clarify, politics is my hobby, whilst my friends read the football scores, i'm reading polling data.
Interesting OP, Snare, but I must say that political issues should be discussed.
You don't have to participate in political threads if you don't want to.
And, of course, this place still remains a safe place for JWs who are waking up.

TBH, I think it's a bit premature in the US because your vaccination scheme isn't going well.
However, our vaccination rollout is going great in Britain, so I think our masks should start coming off here.

So, Middle America only voted Trump, right? - obviously not. I never claimed this.
Middle America voted for Biden and Trump.
I'm just saying that the Dems need to stop calling Middle America 'racists' and other such nonsense, otherwise they will be out of office in 2024.

Biden will probably be sworn in as president but Middle America isn't going anywhere.
You know, Middle America - the people who largely live within the law, pay their taxes, but are slandered by Democrats as 'racists' and other 'phobes'.
If Biden and Harris treat them with disdain, the Republicans will likely get back into power in 2024.
