Even in the Woke Era, I think Emily Blunt has done a lot of strong characters that do not fall into that pattern - yes, there are directors who write strong female characters even in the 'Woke Era'.
Here's one: Clare Carroll. She's the main protagonist of The Nightingale (2018). She isn't brilliant at everything, she sometimes gets scared, she has her own prejudices, but she's essentially a strong character. She's highly relatable because she's a well-written character.
