  The first rule of beard club...

  ...is you don't start growing a beard in the spring!

  you start growing it in the fall, keep your chin warm in the winter, and then shave it off for warm weather.

  at least that's how it works in my household and in the northern hemisphere where the gb are.. i have the sneaking suspicion that there is going to be a steep learning curve for many.. will they know to trim it along their jawbone properly?

  the trinity doctrine says god is three persons in one being.. yet the bible says god is one.. gal 3.20 a mediator, however, implies more than one party; but god is one.

  This is a bold statement but I'm basing it on their previous behaviour - and they've certainly got a lot of 'previous'.

  Does The WT Keep Files On ExJW Activists?

  it occurred to me that the wt, if they can identify the activists that are currently campaigning against them, would have a lot of ability to compile detailed dossiers on them.

  once identified, the elders of the appropriate congregation could be asked to forward copies of all their membership details held locally.. would they do that, and do such dossiers exist?.

  (there are probably data collection rules governing such things in a lot of countries, but by no stretch of the imagination could the wt be considered a good corporate citizen).

  yeah, so first the female armorer has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and will get up to 18 months jail time.. now it's that soppy sod baldwin's turn in court.. i hope he's held properly to account - he was the film's producer after all..

  Elfdalian - a minority language spoken in Sweden

  just found an interesting little video (älvdalska förklarad = 'elfdalian explained').. elfdalian is a separate language spoken in dalarna, sweden by a few thousand people.. in swedish, the letter w is rarely used, and when it is it is pronounced as v. but elfdalian has w and it's pronounced just like english w. so, 'white' is vit in swedish, but wait in elfdalian, pronounced like english white.. elfdalian also has the letter ð, ð, which features not in swedish but in icelandic and faeroese.

  A good place to start if you want to explore Elfdalian orthography, grammar, etc., is wiki.

  Elfdalian has four grammatical cases (unlike Swedish which has none).

  Also, Elfdalian speakers were apparently using a runic alphabet right up until 1929! That is insane

  February has been a slow month for me because I've been battling a weirdly-lengthy cold-flu virus - could be something he picked up in Thailand, lol.
