  i had a phone call with one of the elders who advised i attend the assembly at the weekend.

  i have plans (and a life) but i said i'd go there on the weekend as i can't take short notice time from my studie and work.

  does anyone have a link to the assembly or transcript that i could look through?.

  so i am new to this site.. i have left the organization of my own accord.

  and doing very well.. why do those of you who are still active, if you are on this site, still attend?.

  it is no differance to me... i am just wondering why.... .

  I'm attending meetings although DFed. The casual sexism and racism has seen me walk out a few times (I pretend I'm choked up with grief and emotion rather than anger) but other than that I just browse on my phone. I have to say the new developments for online makes distractions easier!

  forgive me if this has been posted before by somebody else but i am outraged by the wt study edition for sep 15 2014 and the study article about remembering those in full-time service.

  i realize some people feel they can't just leave the religion.

  they have family, friends, position.. some elders mistakenly believe that they might be able to reform the cult from within.

  the truth is, the religion is never really going to change.

  No one followed me lol! They're so insulated, that's the problem I'm facing. While I'm frustrated at trying to get back in, there's no reform, just a timescale (story in members bit.). Those people were all conditional follow my way or you're "bad". I've met kind and caring "worldly" people who have stuck with me even when I've made mistakes they're always there. Everyone else abandoned me hoping I'd see the light lol.

  Get out if you can. You have no idea what freedom feels like, and you never will if you don't get out if you can

  I don't just I just seen it tonight. Nice production, im sure they got in a company to film it Because it doesn't seem like the usual videos. It was just talking about how we should welcome international delegates and to go on ministry if host cong.

  saddened that all the DC's are being held on the same bank holiday weekend I was hoping I could skim a recording and pretend I was there!
