Did you actually watch the CNBC and CNN Republican debates? Who could possibly think that that those debates served the voter? I am a US citizen living in Canada.

I don't think most JWs can get passed some of these points as we know.

If one is gay, you are telling Jehovah the Creator, that he as the Creator, made you wrong. ie. your parts don't match up with your orientation or who you are. A scripture mentions the pot telling the potter that it was made wrong.

Humans were meant to procreate and fill the earth, as was his original purpose for humankind. How can gays procreate?

We have the biblical accounts of Sodom and Gomorrah etc etc, and Jesus Christ himself stating that marriage was between a man and a woman.

Doesn't the WTS say when they're backed into a corner, that "Bible Chronology" as they interpret it, trumps the secular historical records? ie. shut up and obey..we know better than you do?? Don't do your own research? I would say that that's IRONIC, seeing how wrong they have been with their previous false prophetic utterances. Oh yes..thats a sign that they have Gods spirit upon them...where else can they go???

I've never seen or read the WTS use the terms "alluding" or "ironic" or "poetic" in describing the Bible or the so-called historical Biblical record, when secular historical documentation in whatever form, disproves their theories or so-called prophetic utterances regarding the 7 times or 70 years or 1914. Those are your poor lame excuses for the WTS failed teachings. Its silly gobblygook.

Interesting. I do have the complete set of Russells Studies in the Scriptures and the Divine Plan of the Ages.

Heres a passage in Volume 3 regarding the Great Pyramid and various measurements of its interior, and its significance with the 1914 AD date:

"So, then, if we measure backward down the "First Ascending Passage" to its junction with the "Entrance Passage," we shall have a fixed date to mark upon the downward passage. This measure is 1542 inches, and indicates the year BC 1542, as the date at that point. Then measuring down the "Entrance Passage" from that point, to find the distance to the entrance of the "Pit," representing the great trouble and destruction with which this age is to close, when evil will be overthrown from power, we find it to be 3457 inches, symbolizing 3457 years from the above date, BC 1542. This calculation shows AD. 1915 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble; for 1542 years BC plus 1915 years AD. equals 3457 years. Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1914 will be the beginning of the time of trouble such as was not since there was a nation -- no, nor ever shall be afterward. And thus it will be noted that this "Witness" fully corroborates the' Bible testimony on this subject..."
