Throw Out Your Blood Cards!
by Coded Logic inex-jehovah's witness bled to death after surgery .
in 2006, riddell signed a declaration that she did not want to be given blood during any medical procedure because of her jehovah's witness beliefs, even if healthcare providers believed that it was necessary to preserve her life.. she later stopped practising the religion but her brother told hill she maintained the declaration because she had researched the use of blood transfusions and made an informed decision not to receive any blood.. riddell opted for the surgery after being diagnosed with symptomatic gallstones, hill said.. parry met with riddell before the surgery but did not discuss receiving blood with her as he told hill the chances of someone bleeding during the surgery were less than one per cent.. that meant the surgery began at wairau hospital at 9am without parry knowing about the declaration, although his anaesthetist did.. it was originally supposed to be a keyhole only surgery, but parry made the decision to go to an open surgery as he could not access the gall bladder through the keyhole technique.. during the surgery there was a small amount of bleeding, which parry was unconcerned about.. the surgery finished at 11.15am and parry went away to perform another surgery.
during that time, riddell's blood pressure dropped and fluids increased.. the anaesthetist visited parry during his surgery and told him "we have a problem, she's bleeding.

Really made you think about what "paradise" would be like.
Hated having to wear Dockers with a CREASE for breakfast. I only owned jeans and now I was expected to buy special clothes?

This was on my google alert last night. I put lots of key words on the title of this thread that I hope will create some traffic. It would be great if as many members as possible TWEET and email the law firm's press release to the press. AP, UP and the UK.
This needs maximum exposure.

DALLAS , Oct. 23, 2014 /NEWS.GNOM.ES/ — Six young adults, from north Texas , all sexually abused as children, filed suit today in Dallas, Texas state court against three North Texas Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregations ( Dallas , Plano , and Greenville ), the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, and an elder.

Windle Turley, one of the attorneys representing the six plaintiffs, said, “at the Turley Law Firm, we have a longstanding commitment to representing victims of institutional and religious sexual abuse. Victim speaks about rape ordeal
JAILED: Mark Sewell
First published Thursday 23 October 2014 in News
Last updated 04:03 Thursday 23 October 2014 by Dominic JonesA WOMAN who was raped by a Jehovah's Witness elder in Barry has spoken out about her ordeal and her hopes for bringing legal action against the church.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is pursuing legal action against the Jehovah's Witness church alongside fellow victim and campaigner Karen Morgan in regards to their treatment in the aftermath of being abused by Mark Sewell, 53, who was jailed for 14 years in July for one count of rape and seven counts of sexual assault.
The pair are being represented by Kathleen Hallisey, the lawyer who represented American Candice Conti in a legal action against the Witnesses following years of childhood sexual abuse in California.
The woman, now in her 50s, was raped by Sewell at his home in the early 1990s having become friends with him and his family through the church.
Following the attack, she became pregnant but subsequently miscarried.
At the time she received an apology from Sewell, who cried and claimed he was drunk during the assault. She remained in the church for four more years before leaving, disillusioned with her treatment when it became clear that no action would be taken against Sewell.
Sewell was merely disfellowshipped from the congregation - in relation to his "attitude" and alcohol consumption - only to return a few years later.
Part of the problem was, as Sewell's niece Karen also experienced, the church's desire to first and foremost deal with allegations internally and also their "two witness" rule - a rule that states there has to be two witnesses to an offence, even in cases of sexual abuse, before action can be taken.
She added how the church had, at the time, refused to piece together different allegations against Sewell because one victim was a child and one was an adult - despite both allegations being sexual in nature.
An elder from the Barry congregation itself told Merthyr Crown Court during Sewell's June trial that all the documents relating to the internal investigation - conducted had been destroyed due to the passage of time.
Speaking about bringing her attacker to justice more than 20 years after he raped her, the woman said: "Leading up to the court case, that was probably the worst year of my life.
"I felt I had to do it though because I felt like at the time he had gotten away with it and he wasn't sorry.
"It was Karen and the other victims and their support that kept me going."
Even seeing Sewell jailed, didn't bring her the comfort or closure she desired, she said. His arrogant and defiant attitude while on the witness stand and outright refusal to accept any wrongdoing only served to open up old wounds and leave a bitter taste in her mouth.
Now she is hoping that legal action against the church may help bring some of the closure she desires, and perhaps even force the Jehovah's Witnesses to rethink their policies on how they deal with allegations of sexual offences within the church.
"They need to sit up and take notice. We're not just out to make trouble or a fast buck off them. We have been seriously, seriously damaged," she said.
"Because of the way they have acted and reacted to Mark's misdemeanours, somebody has to be held accountable".
The woman added that despite her experience she would implore any victims of sexual abuse within the church or otherwise to come forward and not suffer in silence.
The Jehovah's Witness church have publicly stated that they abhor sexual abuse and endeavour to provide their utmost support to any victims, and do not condone any attempts to shield abusers from the law.

How To Be Subversive While Knowing TTATT And Stuck Inside The Watchtower Corporation Confines?
by frankiespeakin inso you found out it is all bs but due to family and friends you don't want to be disfellowshipped and shunned.
you have to go to these rediculous meetings maybe even engage in corporation sponsored magazine drives to get the propaganda into the homes of your neighbor in hopes of making another corporation zombie mystified by childish magical thinking, of a jealous deity that wants you to work for the corporation finacial interest or else die for your lack of corporation loyalty.. it is a stressful sitiuation with all kinds of trip wires one has to beware of in order not to be heading into some back room kangaroo court where obediance to the almighty corporation is the bottom line, and a fair hearing of the facts is last on the list of importance.. one consolation is that one may eventually get friends and family out of this demanding and destructive cult with patients and passage of time.. so what ideas would you like to pass on to readers?
what are some of subversive activities one can engage in while stuck in this nasty bit of mandatory corporation exercises of preaching, selling, and building?.

Please call Social Services and the police. This girl is a victim of emotional abuse and possibly physical abuse. Explain to social services what disfellowshipping is and if the elders watched the video.
