Steven Lett asks for money again
by Gorbatchov inthe 2016 january tv.jw.org broadcasting has a clear message: jw.org needs more money!.
the 2 months of donation increase is not enough: the thousands of projects are not a 2 month project.. so: thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you (heh heh heh) and send us more!
personal conclusion: if i had any doubts that the society is sincere, this openly money grabbing has made my perception complete.

I would rent some pick-up trucks and vans for Sunday mornings to park outside Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls and have a large 4'x8' A frame sign in the bed 4" lettering with blown up famous Watch tower and Awake magazines. Themost famous Magazine Covers : dead Children (no blood), Generations, and "1975 ". Perhaps an old Rutherford "Religion is a snare and a Racket sign" ?. Perhaps some big GB 2.0 head shots with Pope Hats? A big inflatable Golden Calf with a blue JW.ORG between the horns? A big paper mache' Molech in the truck bed?
Actually i just got a cell phone call from an awakening JW AT THIS MORNINGS MEETING (40+ yrs in) who is looking at apostate WEB sites DURING the meeting!!!!! lol. He told me the recent GB talks are more damaging to his "faith" than any appostate site. Tight pants Tony, constant begging for money, and the Societies "defense" during the Royal commision inquiry is really shaking him up.

Branch Service Department Manual approves appointing Child molestors as Elders

The immediate response to this letter in Northern California was to appoint a man who had been involved in SIX Child molesting/kidde porn cases in the late 80s, early 90s in Central California.
Evidently changing congregations and counties and some "green handshakes" helped move the process along. He was shown off by having a part on the platform at the Sacramento Convention Center to the horror of some of his now adult victims.

Were you or someone you know sexually molested by a Jehovah's Witness ?
by flipper indue to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?
remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.
what about the thousands that don't get caught?

After sharing the ABC story about Candice with a number of inactive JWs THREE ex Jw sisters have contacted me and shared personal experiences about TWO Silicon Valley ELDERS who molested FOUR young pre-puberty JW children. Two of the children reported the abuse, but the children and parents were ordered to NOT contact police and drop the issue by the Elders (who still serve).
There seems to be no bottom to this cesspool Flipper.

"What will I do if I leave Jehovah's Witnesses ?"
by Balaamsass2 inwhenever we visit the board we see a lot of angst among jehovah's witnesses who are just learning the tatt (the truth about the truth).
hey, don't feel bad, we had it at one time ourselves.
"angst means fear or anxiety (anguish is its latinate equivalent, and anxious, anxiety are of similar origin).

"Angst means fear or anxiety (anguish is its Latinate equivalent, and anxious, anxiety are of similar origin). The word angst was introduced into English from the Danish, Norwegian and Dutch word angst and the German word Angst. It is attested since the 19th century in English translations of the works ofKierkegaard and Freud.[1][2][3] It is used in English to describe an intense feeling of apprehension, anxiety, or inner turmoil."
After 50+ years of toiling with the heavy loads of Watchtower land let me put your minds at rest.
It is a glorious spring SUNDAY here in California. I SLEPT in till 9:30am. (I did not rush around getting dressed checking my bookbag, shirt, or check to see my Watchtower was studied. I did not practice a talk or check notes. I did not check the car for litter, or the shine on my shoes). I shuffled into the kitchen and made a big pot of coffee and enjoyed the local paper and the NY Times. ahhh. Third Gen woke up at 10:30 AM to the smell of coffee and me LAUGHING on the phone with a JW Witness FRIEND (yes you heard that right- I still have JW friends (all secret "apostates"). I emailed other ex witness friends a joke. We then enjoyed BRUNCH and listened to the birds and our nice neighbors playing in the nearby park with their children (yes those horrible non-believers doomed to die at armageddon). Third Gen is outside now working on her rose garden with a big smile and chatting with the neighbors (those horrible worldly school teachers :) )
Last week we had a nice lunch with Mr and Mrs Flipper. The week before, dinner with another board member.
The friends we have now do not all share the SAME beliefs about everything. They don't have to.
The point is "The TRUTH will set you free" the real truth... TATT. Enjoy life. LIFE...It goes on AFTER Watchtower.

Another "reaching out" guilt trip this weekend, apparently.
by OneEyedJoe ini just got word that the brothers of my congregation is "encouraged to attend a special meeting" this saturday.
i was told to bring the od book, and the 9/15/14 and 4/15/15 study wts.
judging by the articles in those, it's going to be another guilt trip to get all us dead-beat kids in our 20s and 30s to "reach out" to be jr. cult leaders.

by AndersonsInfo inhttp://newsinfo.inquirer.net/685988/group-offers-to-translate-bible-into-pangasinan.
group offers to translate bible into pangasinan .

Thanks Barb!
More efforts to reach people without internet connections? Do any of these obscure locations have natural resources, land, money, or skills for Watchtower to squeeze? Odd move. imo.
The Florida/Bahamas airport translation office location made perfect sense to me. They can Fly duffle bags of cash and GB members ducking cops and Process servers from Florida to the Bahamas without customs. Freetown has an international airport AND Swiss banks. A lawn chair on the beach and and cash in a Swiss bank beats a bunker any day.
Just trying to keep up with progressive theocratic strategy!

“We are not done yet!” – Candace Conti reacts to appeal court decision
by Watchtower-Free inhttp://jwsurvey.org/cedars-blog/we-are-not-done-yet-candace-reacts-to-appeal-court-decision.
candace conti (pictured in her interview with abc) has spoken out for the first time about the appeal court decision.
as current and former jehovahs witnesses digest the news that watchtowers appeal against the candace conti verdict has faltered, albeit with the punitive element of the judgment reversed, candace has reacted for the first time by telling me: we are not done yet.. news spread on monday that the state appeals court in san francisco had upheld the $2.8 million compensatory damages in the original june 2012 verdict, but overturned the $8.6 million punitive award against watchtower.. the court decided that, though watchtower had neglected its responsibility to supervise known pedophile jonathan kendrick in field ministry, a church-sponsored activity, the organization had no duty to warn parents in the congregation that a pedophile was in their midst or report him to authorities.. an insightful report by investigative reporter trey bundy has suggested that the court reached its decision because the precedent set by the conti verdict might be too burdensome to enforce.. the burden would be considerable because the precedent could require a church to intervene whenever it has reason to believe that a congregation member is capable of doing harm, and the scope of that duty could not be limited with any precision, the judges wrote.. candaces attorney rick simons responded by pointedly telling bundy: they think in public policy terms that theres too much risk in broadening the churchs responsibility and liability so that it burdens what churches do.

Candace. Thank you for not taking the settlement "hush money" like so many others and sticking to your guns. Your case and interviews have encouraged others to come forward and talk. I heard 3 new cases in my area after your ABC interview.
No matter how it ends up what can this Religion brag about? The publicity was damming. If a Child Molester gets a 3 yr sentence vs 20 yrs, is he any less a child molester? He is still branded for life and an outcast.
As far as "Public Policy" goes in California, Governor Jerry Brown J.D., made it very clear during last fall's elections he would not support expanding statute of limitations and child protections because the issue had been so prevalent. In the end it was all about the $$. :(
