I have read a pile of vitrol over the years about the Pope and "False" religious leaders of every variety. Why not ISLAM ? Have I missed a more recent AWAKE! headline on the evils of ISLAM?
If it is fear of a Brooklyn car bombing, wouldn't that show a " fear of man" and lack of "reliance on Jehovah" ????
Sam Herd's talk on another thread hows he believes JWs should witness despite dangers. Shouldn't the GB be taking the lead?

the watchtower put more effort in protecting their pedophiles than helping victims of the crimes.
i know elders are instructed to call hq first because the watchtower needs to figure out how to avoid any responsibility and instruct the elders to avoid as much contact with victims while guiding the pedophile through his trials and dangers!

Glad Sam likes to lead from the rear. Sidlick was the LAST GB 1.0 to serve as an Elder in a rough congregation -Bed Stye in Brooklyn. He picked a few big guys as travel companions. One was a 6'2"+ undefeated golden gloves champ.
I see GB2.0 can't wait to exit to the WTBTS "Country compound" ..Very brave fellows.

No doubt some JW parents thought he was such a WONDERFUL ELDER...HOSPITABLE....and a SHADY CRAG for the fatherless boy and SINGLE MOMS. No doubt he offered FREE babysitting poolside for busy moms.
We had an elder like this in my old hometown. The 13 year old boy who complained and spoke out was marked as a "BAD BOY" by the local elders for "Speaking injuriously of Glorious ones".
