Working on Thanksgiving

every year now, we all get story after story of the cruel practive of taking people away to work on thanksgiving.

while i was not raised to celebrate the holiday, and even after taking it on, i still see it as a dinner and at best a few friends and family members eating together.

yet for most americans, it is not really that big of a deal to work on thanksgiving.

lol, pretty soon there will be no holidays off work, at least in the US the country who likes to enslave people forcing them to work untold hours overtime so they can then raise the price of food and basically take it back.

I for one, have never enjoyed the silly shopping nonsense. to me standing in line for any thing not absolutely necessary for life is a waste of my time, especially on the cold. lol black friday and other 'sales' show the real immaturity of mankind.

Ill be happy to shop on line [go amazon! ] and have it delivered to my door.

my husband has always had thanksgiving day off and he takes the friday off to make it a long weekend [not that we ever do anything]

this year he wants a turkey. i told him im not cooking it, cleaning it, and im not doing dishes, been there done that, and no more will i stand in the kitchen cooing al day and cleaning all night.

who is going to invite US for dinner, my own daughter who was never a jw, even wants to cook anymore. [though shes never invited us over for dinner]

have a good meal !! i will, im not cooking it yay!

look at the devout islamist whose worship consists of blowing people up or cutting off heads.. contrast that to those hindi who sit with legs folded in their own lap contemplating bliss.. now contrast both the above to somebody who believes service to god is visiting the sick in hospitals.. _____.

instead of there being 3 different gods served--there might only be an extraordinary unveiling of each person's heart and mind!.

a perfect god cannot create imperfect things.

only a god who would have to know what imperfect was to begin with, could pass that on.

therefore If we are created in Gods image, he too must have the same imperfect traits. or,

If I am more forgiving than some, then id say The Good that people do comes from God , and he in no way has done

any of those silly things spoken of in an ancient book.

who said God was perfect? hmm does the bible say it,

perfect are all of his ways? really, alll his ways?

then why are we not perfect.

woman was created first.. every human being has 46 chromosomes arranged in 23 pairs, the first twenty two are autosomes, or matching, the twenty third pair matches in the female (xx), however, the male is mismatched (xy).. notice what is missing from that second x?

yes, one of its ribs has been removed.. clearly, in a female, since all are matching pairs, it makes sense that woman was created first as the male xy combination is the mutated pair.

why would god create the mismatched dna first?

ive already told my mother that I must be better than Jehovah because Id never do to adam and eve what he supposedly did, Id never ask someone to sacrifice thier son, and Id never expect my son to die willingly for imperfect humans.

and Id never treat people the way jws treat disfellowshipped people.

and i said no, and i dont believe it either, and he agreed. he then proceded to tell me that when he asked and elder about something in a previous lesson that was equally stupid, the elder told him, 'well, we will have it cleared up eventaually'

ott wedding anniversary celebrations, what's that all about?.

i don't know about you, but the various congs i have been in there have.

been some seriously over the top wedding anniversaries that border on the obscene.

hmm,

ive only heard of 50th wedding anniversaries and maybe some 25th anniversaries as being made into a big deal, and usually thrown by the children of the couple and usually a surprise, and there were not any 'gifts' and usually at a rented hall with a pot luck bring a dish meal.

the date: july 3-6th, 1986.

(a hot 4th of july weekend) this was the "divine peace" district convention.. location: the capital centre, landover, maryland.

usa.. my age at the time: 6 yrs old.. the wt representative giving the keynote address: none other than vp of watchtower, milton g. henschel.

i was at the convention in cleveland a few years ago and got a photo of henchel . then he died. cant recal what happend to that photo.

Fibroids UK.

i have just had a radiology appt where i was told i had fibroids.

great.. i had a mirena coil fitted 2 months ago to control heavy and prolonged periods, suffering for about 14 months.. i wonder what my gp will suggest now??.

i'm gutted.. thanks for listening.

i had a hysterectomy at age 35 and was left with one good ovary, it was odd, for the first time in my life since age 13,

i had no discharge, and no lower back pain.

no more periods, no more endometreosis pain, no more bloating,

no more wearing panty liners, no more cramps, and nearly no chance of ovarian cancer. since i have only one.

it was the best thing i ever done and wish id have had it done ten years earlier.

my daughter age 32 had a total hysterectomy, she had endometreosis worse than i , her doctor wanted to put her on medication to shrink the endo, that would have cost her 100 dollars a week. well there was no way she was affording that, so she told her dr to take it all out.

shes not on any hormone replacement pills . she just took natural supliments while her body went through a quick menopause.

[were against meds pretty much]

and shes fine. shes not sick, moody, or overweight. so its something to think about. i figure if your done having kids,

why mess with doctors, and for us here in the us, huge doctor bills, and pain all the time.

are we loosing the skills/ ability to make freinds and seek mates?

it occoured to me that so many people in the world in general, have now become tech dependant.. so in my view this has interfered with a childs ability to make freinds simply from initial contact.. people fear each other right off the bat, and are suspicious, rather than the other way around, becasue of the things that go on.

even among those who cliam to be true christains.. there also is a huge amount of people of all ages, who have no clue how to date.. dating websites have flurished, ans has social sites like this one, .

but they are an inaccurate means in my opinion, because not all people on these sites can be trusted.. how do we interpret whats being inplied when text cannot express emotion?.

[my jw upbringing has at least taught me one thing,

to not take things personal , other wise id be offended all the time].
