hello to all.. i need help finding a quote written in an article not sure if it was awake or watchtower.. it may have been the years 68' or 69 but i remember distinctly that it mentioned 1975 was approaching very quickly and that it was not time to be fooling around with jesus' words about no one knowing the date or the hour.. thanks!.

my wife and i are thinking about moving to central tn somewhere between crossville and cookeville.
maybe even as far west to lebanon or as far east to hariman.
things have changes so much for us in the last 6 months we would like to live were it is a little warmer with lots of wild herbs for my wife who is a herbalist and for me so i can garden more.
my son lives in the nashville tn outskirts, he says its pretty nice, Iwent down to see him and he took me to a cute little town called franklin, just outsde of nashville, that franklin reminds me a little of the franklin in pa. cute walking around town sort of town.
we also went to the opreyland hotel, to see the inside gardens, really cool.
the tax in tn is 10 percent on everything, but they have no income tax, nashville is only a few hrs from louisville. stuff is fairly similar in price as in pa.
there are many new jobs availiable in and around nashville, so its worth a look.
i submitted a letter to the local k hall, explaining that i no longer believe my baptism as a jw is valid, based on my current bible knowlege.
and i wish to be no longer considered a baptised [in this organization], jw, but simply a christain who studies the bible.. and then would continue to attend meetings?.
they couldnt prevent me, its open to the public.. .
have no intention of doing anything, just fading i hope.
99% of all funerals that i have attended have been the wt version, where they preach about the resurrection into paradise and say little about the person who passed other than they were loyal to jah.
the other 1% catholic for grandparents.. now that i consider myself an atheist, i got to wondering what do atheists plan for when they die?.
if you are a non-believer what are your plans for when you die?
i had a distant relative leave his body to science, just last year.
and bigmac there is a mars Pa, so you might get half of your request, lol

oh well, i guess ill just wait and see how things go by being oh so quiet.
of course that is up to my mom,
who was called kdka cathy when she was a teen. [kdka is a tv channel]
she talks too much.
apologies if this has been asked before, but i couldn't find a thread where the focus was specifically this yes-or-no question.
reach back in your memories to when you were at the peak of your faith in the religion, and tell me honestly:.
"did you, personally, believe that non-witnesses would die at armageddon, even if they hadn't gotten to hear the message at all?".
i never accepted that ,
im better than that, id never condemn someone to die for ignorance or imperfection.
i just buried my beloved poddle, little brother.
he died suddenly.
i know to most people that is not an important event.
so sorry sweetie, I hated going through that, twice so far a dog and a cat, and two more cats to go, after those go i cant deal with it anymore.
they are like our kids.

not going back to those weekly cuckoo conventions
but thought maybe I found a way out for a lot of people who are needing to stay
involved for sake of family
im not and never was missed. If I was df tomorrow the only person who would 'suffer' would be my mom.
I thought gee if your not baptised, your not under thier rules?
years ago I recall something about people wanting to get rebaptised weird but thought hmm I wonder.
in an earlier thread, i mentioned that i wasn't a particularly doggy person but that my parents got a husky last year that i've come to regard as a kind of brother.. huskies superficially resemble wolves and for me it's been fun to compare and contrast husky and wolf behaviour.
huskies howl but rarely bark, and seem to have a strong prey drive and a strong pack instinct - a nod to their wild cousins.
this is why i love huskies, i think.. do you have a favourite dog breed and why?.
not a dog lover but when i watched the show on PBS wishbone, i thought that jack russel was adorable, so we got one.
fortunatuely he was a mild mannered little 'elmo' [his name] who was a good dog and calm for a jr.
13 years later when he had to be put to rest, my husband cried harder than when his own parents died.
they are funny dogs.
my mom had a mini collie, which i liked, she also was cute, but with the hair, high maintainence. but still adorable.
