Wouldn't it be hilarious if WT ultimately had to pay money to EVERYONE they DF'd that is still living in class action lawsuits all over the world for religious abuses.
Wouldn't that be a burn on all the smug shunners?

the guardian has a story about a recent discovery regarding the great pyramid of gizeh.
it begins this way:.
"archaeologists have uncovered a mysterious enclosure hidden deep inside the great pyramid of giza, the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
Evidently, the secret chamber represents the overlapping generation in stone.
Are we not thrilled??
to quote someone near and dear: they should have built the whole kingdom hall out of the same thing they built the signs.... i had to wait nearly two weeks to get into the neighborhood to get these pictures for your voyeuristic interests...this is peanuts compared to the over 5,000 homes that were destroyed (this number includes individual units in large apartment complexes that were completely razed).
those pictures and videos are available in the media.
wine country is a community devastated..
Pretty sure I gave a talk there
after being a jw for 25 years and finding every weasel way to 'maintain christian neutrality', i now find myself in a completely 'new light'.. i quit abruptly, four years ago and have lived a jw free life with the exception of my born-in wife.when i see the ceremony of the national anthem, it not only reaffirms the absolute beauty of personal freedom, but it also allows me to see that most people are good and loyal to one another.
i treasure my life and have become a patriot.
now i feel ashamed that i was a government/authority rejecting, isolationist that benefited from living in the greatest country in the world.
Part of my sadness is that we spent all of those years thinking we were involved in the most important work of all.
Turns out, our 'work' was useless and the people we thought were going to be destroyed at armageddon were the actual heroes in our communities...
once again for the 3rd time in 5 years my favorite baseball team the s.f.
giants are headed to the world series !
so who do you think will win this years series and your reasons for your predictions ?
"Beat L.A."
Good enough for me!

'We voted for God's Kingdom".
I cry for the privilege to live with loyalty to my land and fellow - also for my shame of past mistakes.
It can be an emotional experience to rejoin society.
so im walking through town today on my lunchbreak and spot the unmistakable walk of my younger brother.
this is the one who left watchtower... well it turns out he's returned to the vomit after stupidly turning up to the 2017 convention and a few elders filling his head with seeing our dead dad in paradise and to "wait on jehovah".. a few meters behind him was my sister.
she spotted me first, then hurried up her step to my brother.
We're the scariest thing of all to a JW.
Even scarier than the devil, ( that wily old serpent ).
Why, you ask?
We actually exist.
i think the watchtower is the only organization that can promise a product (everlasting life) and never deliver it.. what fools we've been to believe this nonsense..
Peddlers of the 'original lie'.
"You positively will not die" - Gen 3:4
"Millions now living will never die"
"Truth that leads to everlasting life"
"You can live forever in paradise on earth"
They lie
When the scam is finally undeniable, I could see thousands killing themselves in shock.
It's one thing to wake up over time and feel suicidal. It's another to have to wake up with you face being slapped for days straight at a time.
Some of the uber dubs will crash and burn, I'm sad to predict... :(
i've been toying with the idea of just coming out and posting my name and location as an attempt to be available to locals that secretly browse the forum that have known me for up to 25 years.
( "reaching out", so to speak ).
i'm not da'd or df'd, so this most certainly could end in a dramatic confrontation.
**Two years out and gone**
The freedom has been wonderful and exhausting.
I value this freedom more than I thought possible.
The shunning is good/bad.
I miss a handful of people. That's sad.
Leaving the indoctrination and mindless JW conversations was the best decision ever.
That first step out was the hardest of all.
Research your religion and answer all your own questions.
Leave no stone unturned. The decision to stay or go will become clear to you.
I am at a place at life where I make choices only after I've been honest with myself.
