I have taken an interest in EVERYONE now instead of just JWs.
I'm having a hard time forgiving myself for my narrow views that contributed nothing to society.

Never Bring a Knife to a Drone Fight
by LoveUniHateExams inapparently, it's good news, everybody - mohammed emwazi (aka jihadi john) has been targeted by a us drone strike.
the location was in raqqa, syria, a few yards from isis hq, near a clock tower where crucifixions are carried out.
there are conflicting reports, some say he died instantly at 11:40pm yesterday, others say that he was badly injured and taken to a nearby hospital.. from what i've previously read about emwazi, he was apparently terrified of being targeted by drones - yesterday it seems his nightmare was made reality.

It'll get to the point when the living Jihadists will start to realize *everyone* that they knew as young wannabe terrorists were killed by "the great Satan" ( nations that will not tolerate Islamic murder ). Kinda saps one's motivation when the enemy keeps wasting your people while "God is directing your leadership..."
It's just like living JWs that have ALL seen their older family, friends, congregation elders and former bible teachers/students die off when the end was supposed to have come by now.
Don't wait too long to leave the Watchtower. Finding out your doubts were real when it's too late in life to start over is a very painful feeling.

i predict that within the next two to three years (2017-2018) we will start seeing negative numbers in growth.. i predict that within the next thirteen to fifteen years (2027-2030) the number of jws will be less than 4million.. and i predict that by the time the first person sets foot on mars there will already have been a major split in the organization with either one of the gb or a branch overseer starting a new religion..

The final component of the rebrand to "Webtower Internet Christ's Kingdom Encouraging Dedicated Broadcast Service" ( WICKED BS ) will be the unveiling of a brand new, younger, hipper GB.
Tech savvy and well spoken.You know, something about reaching an age as an elder and stepping down...
It'll be just like when Rutherford took over the IBSA from Russel's loyalist after his death.
JWs didn't even know what happened until they were told, "We're Jehovah's Witnesses".Don't like it? "Too bad".
Huge drop in membership numbers and here we are today...He had his Beth Sarim, the GB is building their Warwick.
Question is, who will live there? Current GB or some new entity that is already running the show.It is "a show", BTW.

by kairos inif you are willing to pay attention to the org's history and do any kind of unbiased personal research, it's impossible to miss ttatt.. watchtower's publication archive provides all the information anyone would ever need.where are all of the "half truths and outright lies" actually coming from?
( old light ).
why, oh why, back in 1989 when i first got hooked did i not do any research into the watchtower corporation?.

There is an older JW lady, 40 years a pioneer or some craziness, that was so eager about NuLite she would anticipate it before all the assemblies, conventions, new releases and even the latest WT mags.
She was always looking. This is super crazy, because if you have the truth, why would you always want it to be revised?!?"I hope there is new light". Translation: I hope we get to further our group apostasy.

The halt of work at various branches, printing and construction should say something LOUD and CLEAR.
Things aren't speeding up. The Chariot is in PARK.Still-in JWs will wonder "where has the sense of urgency has gone?"
Overlapping generation puts "Harm-you-gettin' " off for years.
Everyone is "still in this old system" and older ones are dying off. ( we weren't even supposed to grow old in "this system" ) YUCK!It's only the fear of shunning that holds them captive.
It would be hilarious if the GB came up with some NuLite that dropped the shunning decree thinking of the "love" that would be heaped upon them, only to see the sheep scatter...Hey? Where'd everybody go?

The surprise is not quite realized by the JW masses.
There is big trouble in HQ.
The GB are struggling to keep the ORG afloat without tipping their hand that Jah is not their friend...Imagine that, Jehovah is not the Governing Body's friend.
He's apparently withdrawing financial support due to lack of... Discretion. -

Did you know anyone who commited suicide in the org?
by JH inback in 1991, a young brother maybe 18 years old living next to my place committed suicide.
his father expected him to be very zealous just like he was, but the son never wanted to be like that.
he was always controlled by his father.

I've personally known two JWs that have killed themselves.
Back in the late 80's when I first joined up, a young lady in her early twenties used a shotgun while sitting in her car. It made no sense at the time. We spent time with her and her husband on fishing/camping trips. She was not yet baptized. Her husband ( widower ) never spoke of it and later would move to Alaska.
Recently while we were at the last Tahoe meet-up we got word that a JW man in his 30s overdosed on pain meds. He had been abusing them for quite some time while desperately attempting to pioneer or reach for MS.
