  The last video in the 2016 convention...

  ...is an epic triumph is emotional manipulation.

  bringing together all of the stories they told thus far and placing them int he "new world" complete with the little boy who was killed in a car accident coming back from the dead.. i have a good friend who is stuck in with family and plays the role.

  he said everyone was crying, and the people next to him rated the videos by how many tissues they needed to dry their eyes.

  My wife will be seeing this at her RC today. In about 3.25 hours from now...

  So sad they use these videos to manipulate our still-in loved ones.

  it really stands out to me just how phoney the bonds of forced brotherhood are.

  the smiles are paper thin when they see each other in hotels.

  the laughs forced.

  My wife is on the way home from the Cow Palace in SF.

  She'll be there the next two days, as well.

  I haven't attended since 2013. So glad to be out.

  I have know idea what to expect from her when I see her tonight.
  The content is pretty bad.
  I don't think she will mention anything about the convention thus far.

  shunning is unjust because say the problem is with 2 people let's say it's fraud against another person.

  now 8 million people are brought into the problem by also shunning the one person that the 8 million must also shun do you see how stupid that is..

  Yes, it's so localized.

  Any of us could move to a new area and request a bible study on JWscatOrg. We could be baptized in less than a year and totally infiltrate.

  That would be a bit much, and I'll never do it, but really, they never looked at my I.D. Just pretend all the way through and make a mockery of the entire thing after being appointed an eldurr.

  Think this is far fetched? Think again.

  Several years ago a ridiculous eldurr told me that yes indeed, there are 'moles' all throughout the ORG.

  i brought up a little bit about the arc spoken of so widely here on the forum.

  i just gave him a bit of a hint a few days ago, and he wanted to hear nothing of it - the old you can't believe everything you read.

  by dorian hargrove, june 24, 2016. a san diego superior court judge has ordered the church of jehovah's witnesses, also known as the watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, to pay $4000 a day for every day that it fails to produce documents requested in a civil lawsuit brought by former parishioner, osbaldo padron, who claims a church elder sexually abused him when he was seven years old.. in a june 23 ruling, expected to be made final today, judge richard strauss admonished the church for willfully ignoring a court order to produce all documents associated with a 1997 body of elders letter that church leaders sent to parishes around the world in a quest to learn about sexual abuse of children by church leaders.. over the course of the past year, the watchtower society and its lawyers have fought hard to keep the letter confidential, claiming that turning over the documents would infringe on the privacy of those mentioned in the letter that were not associated with the case.. in march 2015, the church turned over a heavily redacted version of the letter.

  It's the GB and WTBTS who the courts are going after.

  Persecution my ass! They just got caught, that's all.

  why is it that we have chosen to step away from the society that we once viewed as "the truth", despite the consequences for doing so?.

  well for any visitors to this site, or any other "apostate" sites, the answer is simple really:.

  The first leak in my dam was elders turning a blind eye to local criminal activity within my congregation.

  I pressed the issue. With all of the elders and two COs.
  They did nothing. I cornered an elder, my brother in law, and he told me, and I quote: "as a body of elders, we have decided to ignore this"...
  We were alone in the car while in service when this conversation happened, waiting for the other two to return from their call.

  It took everything I had to contain myself. I just wanted to be taken home at that very instant.

  I buried it for just a little while. Quit the meetings for a few months.
  I attended the meeting where the new Silver bible was released. I couldn't last the entire meeting. I stood in the back until it was over.

  That was the last time I ever attended a meeting of JWs.

  Only after then did I investigate TTATT.
  I was already done, and what I would soon learn only sealed it for me.
  There will never be any 'returning to jehovah'.
  I've even gone so far as to accept, even if they are right, I want nothing to do with them.

  Later I would discover the elders were never my friends and my brother in law would be my betrayer.

  Printing presses, bye... bye...

  bye... bye.... no more new printing presses for jw.org... the growth is so tremendous (irony...).. all printing work in europe will be arrange in the next month only in selters (germany), but no renovation or upgrading in printing presses is expected... it will be a full outsourcing :).

  a worldly company axel s******* will be used.

  this company is known to be printing bild newspaper... the interesting part of it is the logistics will be as well outsourced.

  It's just a matter of time now before the Watchtower and Awake magazines start having advertisements...

  
  

  Look closely, the JWdotORG site has been advertised for years.
  In the publications, meeting parts, video and on the Kingdom Hall on the way in and out.
  Only JWs see the advertising, which is exactly what they want.

  That's where they are encouraged to give of their valuable things.
