My First post
by Simple Minds ini have been lurking on this site for 3 years and this is my fist post.
i would like to thank everyone for helping me wake up.
i was baptized at 24, married at 25, ms for 18 years mentally in for 24 years but started to wake up 3 years ago doing research to give public talks, and the actions of arrogant and narcissistic brothers and sisters did not help.

I always felt I had a strong sense of right and wrong. (Certainly more so than most the JW's I know). I feel I have kept this part of my personality in tact since my abrupt fade.
On the other hand doing a few more Cash in hand jobs these days doesn't bother my conscience one bit ;)

My wife and I went cold Turkey. I fully recommend it. It's been 16 months and we've had barely any bother. One Elder (our group overseer) that did call around a couple months later after my mum spoke with him when she found out we were no longer going to attend. He simply wanted to confirm the rumor for himself. I said i had no problem with anyone and my absence had nothing to do with anyone at the hall. I also made it clear I had no intention of discussing my issues with anyone. He said 'fair enough' and that's the last we've seen of him.
I also recently went for a pint with a friend from my old hall whose a couple years older than me and was made up to Elder status shortly before we stopped going. I made it clear beforehand that I was happy to go for a drink but would not go into anything.
I'm a firm believer that you've got to draw a line in the sand and keep full control of every situation that arises.

Could Wt afford to proselytise in China if they were allowed in.
by joe134cd ini was just thinking today if china opened it doors to wt, and there was the surge of interest as was the the case with the european eastern block countries when communism 1st fell.
what would be wt reaction toward it.
could wt even afford to proselytise in china.

There are already an estimated 12 million Catholics in China so the wtbs will have plenty of catching up to do.

Samuel Herd: a woman saying "if she were a man....." is borderline being a homosexual
by Khaleesi innot sure if this was posted before... but apparently for the wt a woman's smaller cranium than a man's shows she was designed to be in submission to the man!!
unbelievable he dared to say such things!.

Did you also notice that IF (lol) the woman is 'sharper of mind' than her husband, she should still show submissiveness by not letting on she's smarter. Maybe his wife has let him know a few too many times and this is his passive aggressive way of telling her to stop 😅

From my experience it was NEVER cheaper to book through the Org, so I never did. It's definitely a scam for free rooms as others have mentioned -
